I think what he is saying is the scoring system doesn't matter at all. Everyone knows the system, and can draft or bid accordingly. I know when I join a league, I pay a lot more attention to the FA rules and keeper/contract type rules than I do the scoring system. It really doesn't matter what scoring system is used, as long as you understand it, you can draft or bid accordingly. So all the debates regarding recetion points, or multiplying points at certain positions are really just a waste of time. Sure a certain scoring system my make you take a TE a round or two earlier than you would have in a different system, but there is no huge affect. No one scoring system is better than any other, unless you like to be in a league that values one possition higher than another, then scoring systems might be important regarding your preferences, but that is it, just your preferences.

Thank you. The only thing you left out is the word FANTASY. It's not supposed mimic real football, that's what we have real football for. It's supposed to be FANTASY and not everyone has the same fantasies. If you want receptions to count as points, great. If you want a RB dominant league, super. You want all the positions to be relatively equal, peachy. All of that is great but I, or anyone else for that matter, could argue the merits of both sides of each of those. It's supposed to be fun. If it's not, find a league that meets your needs or change the rules of the one you're in.

In any game, as long as everyone knows all of the rules going in then it's fair and equal regardless of said rules.

FANTASY
