  1. D-Jack has a "bone bruise"? Like Dom Davis has a bone bruise. I've heard that if the latest surgery and rest does not work, he will have to undergo microfracture surgery. I'd steer clear of him. If he plays on Sundays this year, he isn't practicing during the week. I read on another site that he is just getting full range of motion back and still building strength in the leg. Play Ward
  2. If the game would have meant anything, he could have played. They lost the next week to the Jets in the playoffs. Your team makes the playoffs after a long layoff, you want to make sure nothing prevents your best player from playing... He nursed some broken ribs in 2005(last year), but still managed to play every week.
  3. I think LT missed his game in a meaningless week 17 game in 2004...
  4. Genius...funniest thing I've read in a while
  5. I see Kevan Barlow becoming a Bronco or Steeler for some reason. Just a feeling, but SF didn't really address Rb in the draft. Can Gore be trusted?
  6. NERDS UNITE. NERDS...NERDS...NERDS...NERDS...NERDS... Ricky Manning is a bully, nice.
  7. #2 pick for Spikes/#8 pick/QB/pick would make sense. Buffalo needs something after the offseason they've had. I think Buffalo would also send a QB down to New Orleans. How about sending losman back to New Orleans. Buffalo drafts Young and plays Holcomb this year. Young can feed the ball to Robert Royal... All speculation, but fun
  8. He'd be a great #3 in Indy...Near the end of his San Diego run he looked good. He can be had for the vet minimum, and I don't even think he's hit 30 yet...28, i think. He's worth the risk. If Terry Glenn can be taken off the scrap heap, so can Boston
  9. I heard the real reason...they don't have enough ice in the training room for him. At this point of his career given his injury history...I'm sure insuring his contract for injury is quite a big deal and a high premium. He is the king of Worker's comp...Charles Woodson.
  10. Outside of Haloti(Oregon), how many first rounders will Leinart have faced over the last 2 years on the defensive side of the ball? Not many over the last 3 drafts, if any....they all played for USC. guess he saw them in practice everyday. I haven't heard too much about it, but the Pac 10 has produced some first and 2nd round offensive talent over the last few years who haven't fared well(Arrington, Boller, Reggie Williams, etc). I think leinart will be a solid NFL QB, but he stepped into a pretty good situation at USC and never had to play behind an inferior offensive line. He looks textbook on most throws with no one within 2-3 yards of him in most cases. Leinart is the most NFL ready, but long term I think I'd take the gamble on Vince..but Vince might get himself killed and end up being McNair all over again...constantly on the injury report...not sure if he's as tough though. Saying all that, he reminds me of a bigger Drew Brees. He had the same knocks on his game without alll the awards. From Scouts inc. Sounds like a scouting report on Leinart
  11. You should have asked McNair if he needed a ride home...he has a bad habit of taking the wheel after a few drinks.
  12. Semi positive attitude...get them all done in 1-2 weeks. I know some owners who would rather have their studs out at the same time for this reason. Don't think I'd put this in my top 5 of draft criteria, but it's something to think about in April
  13. Is it Mid-March? oh wait..Futureman just caught up to the rest of us.
  14. Screw Bud Adams and his awful toupee. I think insurance would cover 75-80% of his contract in case of injury, guess it's not worth the risk. My guess, Mcnair was told about all this before he just "showed up". This makes quite a statement and story, and it forces the Titans to get this resolved quickly...so they either have McNair, re-negotiate, or release him. NFLPA will probably get involved if this is not settled soon. 1 man lockout
