Outside of Haloti(Oregon), how many first rounders will Leinart have faced over the last 2 years on the defensive side of the ball? Not many over the last 3 drafts, if any....they all played for USC. guess he saw them in practice everyday.
I haven't heard too much about it, but the Pac 10 has produced some first and 2nd round offensive talent over the last few years who haven't fared well(Arrington, Boller, Reggie Williams, etc). I think leinart will be a solid NFL QB, but he stepped into a pretty good situation at USC and never had to play behind an inferior offensive line. He looks textbook on most throws with no one within 2-3 yards of him in most cases.
Leinart is the most NFL ready, but long term I think I'd take the gamble on Vince..but Vince might get himself killed and end up being McNair all over again...constantly on the injury report...not sure if he's as tough though.
Saying all that, he reminds me of a bigger Drew Brees. He had the same knocks on his game without alll the awards.

Sounds like a scouting report on Leinart
