  1. wow , what a HUGH mistake that was. Should have known that a smart? guy like pantherdave wouldn't mispell a four letter word. Huddlism huh? Any more I should know about? Goin' outa town for a few days so the wife's gonna get a hugh one tonight.
  2. yes it does hurt that we're not there but hey, we don't deserve to be there. I was surprised to see us play as good as we did up to the NFC championship game.(which was a joke) I painfully sat through the last Panthers-Bucs game in Charlotte and watched us get whipped by Dallas on the tube and thought then that there was no way we'd go far in the playoffs. Holmgren is a hell of a coach and knew what he had to do to shut us down. I simply was amazed at how poorly we played. Hats off to the Seahawks. Never been to the SB before. I'm pullin' for ya. My wife and I want to visit the northern Cal., Oregon, and Washington State area soon. I know it's a beautiful part of the country. I watched Rothlisburger's last bowl game in college against Louisville and knew then that this guy was gonna be awesome in the pros. I'm not surprised at all to see him in the SB so early in his career. It is going to be a great superbowl with two great teams that didn't just luck into the game. They both dominated the NFC and AFC championships. Is it time for the "Bus" or Alexander the Great?Look forward to a great game. Prediction Seahawks 27- Steelers 20 Oh ps PD, your spelling is pathetic. (communications major at NC State)(i've known him a long time so i can give him sh!t)Go wof pak!
  3. yes HATE is a strong word.hmmm? how 'bout he disgusts me. but most of the UNC wine and cheese crowd does and I have to live with those condescending small thingies.
  4. dave, you should go online to n&o page to read tudors' bs on goings not near enough to beat hawks, end of the road , etc. he sucks, i hate him
  5. delhomme will be slicing up some cajun fare for the soggy hawks fans-panthers secondary will have at least 3 picks-lucas has something to prove-so does the rest of the team-we deserve to be in the superbowl-panthers 23 seahawks-17
  6. yea PD called me and told me to ease up on my comments after last weeks post. Sorry, I do get a little fired up reading negative comments that I don't agree with. My first post today was not a slam towards anyone other than our beloved sportswriter here in Raleigh. The response to that post was misread. Sorry.
  7. sky live 5- I owe you an apology, I misread your post at the end where you said it was the end for "one of them". Sorry, thought you said it was the end for the Panthers. I was a little disgusted with the paper this morning and now I'm a panther homer. Oh well, I think it will be a close game as you do and hope we come out on top. I know the local sportswriter wants to sell papers and provoke the local panther homers. I don't think the panthers have gotten the recognition they deserve for playing as well as they have this postseason. To be honest , I'm surprised to see it after the Dallas game. Hope that team doesn't play tomorrow.
  8. this panther homer will enjoy the games on sunday because I believe in my team after seeing us embarrass the giants and win last week against a very physical bears team who boasts a much better defense than the Seahawks. argue with that smart guy
  9. Ha! I'm sure Tudor will have a seat available for you next to him for monday's crow and eggs. Enjoy! oh and by the way, I think it's BS the way people don't respond to a post simply because someone's a rookie on here. I'm 41 yrs old, father of two. and love my football dearly. Pantherdave talked me into joining the huddle because there were serious football fans on here but noone responds to my posts on the message boards or in a chat room. Ridiculous! Do I know nothing about football because this is my first year on the huddle? I've been an avid NFL fan since the 70s. There are huddler pros on here who aren't even out of school yet.
  10. Opened the local media rag here in Raleigh this morning and my favorite tarheel biased commentator is predicting the end of the road for the Panthers since we've lost Foster. It amuses me to read this garbage from a guy who comments on all sports(mainly pro-unc crap)and thinks he knows the NFL as well. Goings is an accomplished runner who is more than capable of running well against the Seahawks. Our O line is the question and if they play well, Goings will excel. Steve Smith will again ooh and aah the crowd and we will be in the superbowl in a couple of weeks. Our defense is clearly better than the Seahawks and Ken Lucas wants to make a statement on Sunday. He is playing pro bowl calabre ball and was slighted by not being selected. Everyone thought Tiki Barber would run all over us. Now its Shawn Alexander. I hope Carlton Tudor for the news and observer enjoys his eggs and crow monday morning.
  11. There is NO WAY that the Bears' pathetic offense is gonna score 20 points against the Panthers next week. We will face Seattle in the NfC championship-accept it.
  12. The Panthers showed today that they are able to step it up in the playoffs and completely dominated the Giants. They made Eli look silly today and they will continue to play well next week. The guys want redemption against the Bears and they will have it next week. We will defeat the Bears. You can count on it. 20 - 3.
  13. pleeeaaase , no Panther injuries tonight-drafted steve smith in fantasy last weekend and well, you know what happened last year-fingers are crossed-we lost a starting safety in last week's meaningless game-
  14. everybody looked good tonight-it was a good start for delhomme and company-backups looked good too-can't wait for regular season-pleeeeaaaase, no pre-season injuries
