  1. Sorry for the second post - I didn't want to give the impression that is was a WDIS (as the poll suggested). Is there any way to delete this post without being an administrator? Really - Sorry for that...
  2. Which WR do you see as having a better rest of the season? Assume a scoring system awarding 1pt/10 yards and 6pt/TD. Bonus of 3 pts awarded at 100 receiving yards. Thanks and good luck the rest of the way!
  3. I am not looking for which I should start. Either one has been offered as the final piece of a potential trade and was hoping for some help on which to ask included. Thanks.
  4. Scoring is 1pt/10 yards rushing-receiving and 6pt/TD. Thanks for your input.
  5. I think that the seventh spot is too early as well. At the draft try playing some mind games with other owners about how bad the Lions D is and that Jackson will be great - all 10 times Martz runs in games.... Maybe he'll fall? If not - there should be good value since someone else took him before your second round pick. Good luck.
  6. I have him projected at right around 1100 yards and 9 TDs. Assuming this is a 10 or 12 team league - 4th round might not be bad. What number taken WR was he? Gruden's offense should be alright assuming the offesnive line plays well.
  7. 8-Team league with performance starting: 2QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1K, 1D Team A QB: Manning, Vick, Brooks, Harrington, Garcia RB: Martin, Jordan, Arrington, CBrown, Henry WR: Harrison, CJohnson, Lelie, Bruce Team B QB: McNabb, Brees, Ramsey RB: Dillon, KJones, Barber, RBrown, Moore WR: Burleson, SSmith, Boldin, Muhammed, Edwards, SMoss Team A (me) thinks the RBs could be improved. Team B wants to improve their QBs since this league starts 2QBs. The over on the table is Vick and Lelie for Dillon. Which team is this better for? Does another deal seem better for Team A? Thanks.
  8. IMO Leftwich could be a nice surprise and with those young WRs in Arizona - Warner might actually put up some numbers. Especially if there are no deductions for INTs or fumbles. Since you drafted so much quality at the other positions - and since you only stat 1 QB - you should be ok I think.
  9. 8-Team Performance scoring league starting 2QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1K, and 1D. QB Manning Vick Brooks Harrington Garcia RB Jordan Martin Arrington Brown Henry WR Harrison CJohnson Lelie Bruce Unfortunately Manning and Vick have the same bye. I like Harrington's upside; however if he gets pulled some time - Garcia will play and should produce. Since this league starts 2QBs, I have found them to be gold. One team only drafted McNabb and Brees and the waiver wire has the like of JP Losman and Trent Dilfer. During the draft it seemed smart to grab Harrington's backup but I am wondering if it is a waste of a roster spot. Vick probably will miss time so the QB depth is important. My WRs seem solid for now - but I couldn't handle a major injury. As it is Lelie, and Brice have the same bye so by week 9 I will have to add a WR....I'm just not sure if I shoulud drop Garcia in favor of a sleeper WR. Thanks.
  10. I don't think I would do it. While it would be nice to have McNabb - I feel DomDavis and Burleson are significant decreases from LT and Holt. Who knows - Brooks may put it together finally or McNair could play well in Norm Chow's offense. Sit tight IMO.
  11. In my 8-team starting 2QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1K, 1D they went: 03.04 - Marc Bulger (20 overall) 05.07 - Matt Hasselbeck (39 overall) 08.06 - JJ Arrington (62 overall) 09.05 - Ravens Def (69 overall) 11.07 - Larry Johnson (87 overall) We start 2QBs so the QB went earlier than in most 1QB leagues. Good luck.
  12. I think you may be able to offset the WR weakness later inthe season given you have quality RB depth. You may be able to move Benson (since he signed finally) or Arrington if they start the season hot. At 6pts per passing TD - I can't fault the Green pick.
  13. Drafted last night in an 8-team league starting 2QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1K, 1D. Passing is scored at 1/25 and 3/TD with no deductions. Rushing/Receiving is scored 1/10 and 6/TD with no deductions. I always try to draft as many studs as possible in an 8-team league and having the three pick led to some interesting choices. 1.03 - Peyton Manning - starting 2QBs it seemed like the right play 2.06 - Marvin Harrison - my number 3 ranked WR 3.03 - Chad Johnson - my number 4 ranked WR. Could have taken McAllister here (could bite me) 4.06 - LaMont Jordan - upside but unproven over 16 game schedule 5.03 - Michael Vick - Couldn't pass him in the 5th esp. starting 2QBs 6.06 - Curtis Martin - hoping for another good year 7.03 - Aaron Brooks - QB depth is huge since Vick and Manning have byes on week 8 8.06 - JJ Arrington - good upside. Chose him over Dunn which might bite me 9.03 - Ashley Lelie - my third and final starting WR 10.06 - Isaac Bruce - bye-week fill in 11.03 - Joey Harrington - my fourth QB 12.06 - Chris Brown - in case Arrington doesn't work out. Could be good if healthy 13.03 - Travis Henry - when/if Brown goes down 14.06 - Jeff Garcia - I wanted to have the Detroit QB no matter what 15.03 - Patriots D 16.06 - Stover My plan was to take as many tier 1 players as possible (hence taking Chad Johnson over McAllister in the 3rd). I have another draft (same format) coming up. Any opinions on how I could have improved. I know it's tough without seeing who was available - but any thoughts are really appreciated. Thanks and good luck this season
  14. I play in a league that starts 2QBs. I was hoping to use ADP to get a feel for the value of a player. Unfortunately, it seems like ADP is dependent on the lineup the people were drafting for. For example, the QBs don't all usually go late in this league since everyone needs two starters. Am I msunderstanding ADP, or is there a way to correlate the data to a different lineup? Thanks.
