  1. Hill has the spectacular Bronco run D at home though he is apparently the man in Cincy for now. Benjamin has Cleveland and a weird QB situation with the Cam uncertainty. Solid Pass D numbers but perhaps b/c the run D is so bad. Unfortunatey, T.Y. Hilton's injury is forcing my bench into action for the CG. I'll answer yours. Thanks, all.
  2. +1 Good comments from all but this sums up my opinion. He's played 6 snaps. 6. Six. No way. The Landry playing in the slot comment works for me, too. I actually don't hate the Marqise Lee thought. He is playing well and the Ravens can be had deep. Still, feels like a much safer matchup for Landry and he still has plenty of upside.
  3. Gotta be Landry, right? It'd be a surprise to see Tate do much. No idea at QB. Maybe Sanchez just b/c Philly's better than Baltimore. Obviously Flacco has the best matchup but that offense can still lay an egg even against a bad team. Sanchez can flop, too, but I think they've got the best chance to be good even if the defense is playing well. Slight lean to Sanchez.
  4. Which 3 do you keep? PPR1 scoring. (2 wideouts and 1 flex, no RBs or TEs are better flex options) Hilton is a no-brainer vs. Texans Maclin home to a solid Dallas pass D and not Sanchez's favorite though last week was a big week for him. Jordy Nelson is a ASYS but @ Buffalo is tough. Benjamin has been my odd man out lately and last 2 weeks have been meh. Tampa is a nice good weather matchup, though. I'm leaning heavily towards sitting Benjamin but the recent dip with Maclin since Sanchez ascended in Philly and the Nelson weather has me thinking though I'm just not sure I could sit him. If I made a move on my own maybe Benjamin in for Maclin.
  5. No on Mendenhall. Not seeing against the Seattle D. A TD seems unlikely and good yardage does, too. Sproles could be a regular check down for Brees as that Panther pass rush gets after him. Woodhead looks OK against Oakland. Great matchup BUT will Ryan Mathews bogart the snaps as he runs well. Woodhead has the best matchup, no doubt. While I'm a bif iffy on the pick, I think I go Woodhead b/c of the diminished Sproles role this year and scary matchup. Definitely in PPR. Standard? Not even sure. Maybe still Woodhead b/c a succesful ground game against Oakland probably gets him carries to go with the catches and Sproles isn't going to get rushing yardage or TDs and Mendy isn;t doing either.
  6. 6 pt TD, -2 picks, 1pt-25 yds passing Rivers vs. a terrible Oakland D at home but I'm a little concerned they just hand the ball off to Ryan Mathews a lot and get up big early. Of course that could mean they get up big b/c he's throwing TDs. Apparently good weather. Dalton has a good home matchup against a bad Vikings pass D. Lots of recent success against that secondary. Warmish for Cincy but apparently windy forecast. Cousins against yet another terrible pass D in Dallas that may be the worst in the league. Quite warm but 40% chance of rainstorms. The inexperience is scary. The idea of a shootout w/ Romo is incredibly enticing. I'd think they probably have to keep aggressive on O the whole game. Cousins looks so good but it's hard to ignore the big upside of 2 QBs who have some experience and god track records against bad D. Link yours and I'll definitely answer in the next couple of days.
  7. 6 pts TDS 1 PPR 1 pt/10 yds ------------------------- VJax w/ a horrible matchup vs. smothering SanFran pass D Really inconsistent Bowe w/ great Raider D matchup Gonzo still banged up and not getting yards but TDs @ home to Skins Walker with great matchup vs. Cardinal D susceptible to TEs and he's apparently healthy now. Could actually start both TEs Got AP and Gerhart on bench and will probably plug in AP if he recovers and starts.
  8. PPR league- must choose 3 of the 5 --------------- AP vs. the very stingy Raven Run D Knowson vs. a porous Titans run D Vereen vs. a Cle D that can be had on the ground MJD vs. Texans Chris Johnson @ the poor Denver D I've not started MJD or CJ in some time after hating myself for drafting them both that high. Both have pretty good matchups but the top 3 have simply been producing. Moreno was easy to pick off the WW b/c my team sucked at the time. Turned out to be a great move to pick up Vereen off the WW a week or so before he was scheduled to come back. I'm sure AP will start. He always does even when hurt but then MJD goes tonight so if I subbed him in I need to move now. At least with Moreno, if he's legitimately hurt, I can sub CJ since they're playing at the same time (same game actually).
  9. Bush is your clear #1 here even after last week. I think I go Blount next. Even though both could fall on their face I just can't get excited about Barber having much upside at all. Tough call. I wouldn't blame you going Barber b/c he'll almost assuredly get the carries in a game that's very unlikely to turn into a big passing fest. Nah, I still say Blount at #2.
  10. Jackson or Williams, I think. I tend towards the more proven player when faced with a decision like this. That would be Jackson. Just can't feel good about him, though, I think I go Williams. Good luck on Newton. I'm trying to decide b/w he and Eli after having started Cam since very early in the season and Manning with a pretty decent matchup. ETA: I thought about it and I guess just mentally blocked out Floyd. I picked him in 2 leagues this year right around his ADP expecting big things. I probably should have included him in more of a top 3. He's got serious upside in this situation but I just can't put my bet on him considering Mathews will get carries and Gates/VJax are there, too. Floyd would need them to have Packer type offense today to guarantee he'd get his spreading the wealth. Just not seeing the SD offense is good enough to make that bet. Sticking with Damian Williams though I know it's a little bit of a reach but he's the #1 and they should score at home and CJ isn't getting it all.
  11. White is fairly hot playing the Panthers and Julio possibly out but chance for more running vs a susceptible panther d. Nelson at home where he typically flourishes vs a poor Raider secondary. already have Jennings and Cruz starting. Don't ask about my RBs.
  12. Tolbert especially in PPR. Blount just offers no upside these days.
  13. PPR scoring. 3 start, 1 sits Roddy White vs Titans Greg Jennings vs Bucs Jordy Nelson vs Bucs Victor Cruz vs Eagles Leaning towards Roddy. More consistent than maybe Nelson or Cruz but with Shonn Greene getting hurt I'm behind the 8 ball needing more points and seems like more upside to Nelson & Cruz.
  14. I think you're helping yourself more than helping him. You strengthen him a bit at TE but help yourself more at flex and get WR depth at the same time. Bryant's upside would seal it for me. He gives up his likely flex to get a starting TE and you don't give up a starter. Go for it. The fact that you can't use a TE (Whitten) at flex seals it for me. Do it.
  15. Easy to say for another man's team, but I think go Hasselbeck. Indy is so bad right now and the Titans need a big revitalizing win as much as the Colts do...and they can actually do something about it. Schaub is safe as you noted. Man, that's a tough one. My brain sees Hass and just can't get excited but his stats are as good as Schaub's and no AJ this week. The only real negative vision I have is Foster taking a swing or screen pass 80 yards to the house and you getting pissed b/c Schaub gets the stat advantage that way. The stats seem to make it so obvious except for the Colts run D being so bad, too, that CJ could finally get off and have a big day while Hass watches but I still think he has a really good day so they can feel good about themselves.
