  1. Both have favorable matchups, should I go w/McNabb @ NO or Warner vs. Atl? Cards could be running the whole 2nd half w/ a big lead but McNabb hasn't been lighting it up recently....
  2. Favre @ Chicago Warner vs. Atlanta McNabb@ New Oreleans Who do I go with?
  3. I was able to get him for Benson after the first month of the season.....had to live with the 30 and 40 yd games for a few weeks but he's been money since. Don't see any reason he should falter next season (3rd yr.), will only be getting more experience from here on out. Only question is will defenses start to key on him more?
  4. This is wayyyy off thread topic but I found out two weeks ago (through one of those freakish coincidences) that Ferguson had signed with the Jets w/ a $10mil signing bonus already. Hopefully I wasn't just skipping over it, but I searched it online and found nothing, which led me to ponder how long teams wait to announce signings of rookies to possibly get other teams to pay their draft picks more money?? Just a thought, but then the counter argument would arise that the first player would be losing out if others drafted below him might end up making more by not announcing his deal. I guess this is why each position is "annointed" a general salary even before the player is drafted.
  5. If Denver was indeed the place he was headed (if he were to be traded at all), wouldn't this all but kill GB's leverage against Philly in dealing Walker with the Broncos then out of the picture?
  6. Alright guys I am starting up a dynasty with some friends of mine that will incorporate IDP into the rosters. For the most part, we have all stuck to team defense in all the other leagues we were involved in. What's the best way to set up the scoring for the IDPs? Here is the offensive scoring as a reference: 1 pt/10 yds rush & rec 6 pts all rush/rec tds 1pt/25yds passing 4pts all passing TDs
  7. Lol true, but I can just see the Ravens resigning him at the minimum once he realizes no one else wants him. Still would be a waste of money to me.....
  8. Completly agree. He dropped an outrageous amount of possible interceptions last year and was repeatedlly trucked trying to make a tackle. Find tape of the Lions vs. Ravens game last year and watch what Kevin Jones does to him....I doubt he would want to face him twice a year after that. That being said I'd love for someone to take him off the Ravens hands.
  9. I am in a keeper league and have a choice of trading for either LaMont Jordan or Steven Jackson. We can start up to 3 backs and I already have Tomlinson and Cadillac on the roster. Do I go with what seems a more sure thing in Jordan, or the player with what I believe has the higher ceiling in Jackson. Not a PPR league. 10yds rush/rec per pt, 6pts for all TDs.
  10. My 2005 season is down the drain at 2-7, so I'm looking forward to next year. I have been offered Benson for Chester Taylor. It is a 5 man, 10 team keeper league starting QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, and RB/WR. Of note right now I have Tomlinson, Cadillac, Gates, Javon Walker, Braylon Edwards, and Chester. Should I make this trade? 10yds/pt, 6 pts TD.
  11. Does he return to Indy and if not where does he go?
  12. I've been offered S.Smith and Fitzgerald for TO in a 1/2 pt. per reception league. We start 3 WRs, my roster consists of TO, Kennison, Edwards, and Roy Williams at this point. Should I accept?
  13. I own Clayton in a league that starts 2RB/3WR/and a flex. my backs are LT, Cadillac, Moore, and a large supply of RBBC/backups. At WR I have Glenn, Rod Smith, Housh, Parker, Clayton, and Bobby Engram. Redraft, 10yds/pt, 6 for TDs. Been offered Ferguson for Clayton straight up. Clayton has frustrated me to the point that I want to take this deal, and a possible QB switch in Tampa isn't helping him any. Should I pull the trigger?
  14. I do think Ricard will help Jamal's numbers some when he comes back, but the bigger issue here is the line and the play calling. The line was always horrendous at pass blocking, but a superior run blocking team. Now Jamal is getting hit in the backfield before getting a chance to move forward. The play calling became an evident problem against the Colts. Freeney was being double teamed on the left end, but yet they continued to run away from him. Why not run right at him? Screen plays are non-existant with Jamal and I would love to see the percentage on how many times we run vs. pass on 1st down vs. the rest of the league. Im guessing easily 5-10% higher than the league average. Bottom line is Chester adds the passing dimension to the RB but more importantly is a terrible blocker, so the chance's of him replacing Jamal are slim to none. As for next year, I'd bank my money on Jamal being franchised barring another injury.
