  1. Does the code work in the store (not online) on wednesday? thanks!
  2. Is it possible to use this code in the store this week? I have tickets to the browns/steelers game this weekend and would like to have new shirts in time. thanks.
  3. I had an ACL/Meniscus transplant in 1995 at age 17 at UPMC (Pittsburgh). When I had it done, it was very uncommon. I am surprised that it hasn't taken off, especially with pro athletes. My transplant has worked for very well for me.... In fact, I played 4 yrs of college softball. I have had only one setback... in 2003, I had a small tear of the meniscus. The doctor cleaned it up through a scope. I have heard when they scan the meniscus for diseases, the radiation weakens it and can cause a tear in the future. I have heard that some doctors are cloning a new meniscus using cartlidge from the other knee. I don't understand why professional athletes who have bone on bone issues don't try the transplant. Especially since they have their pick of doctors. Surprisingly, they choose the microfracture surgery which I think is insane. They actually fracture the bone so it would bleed. The blood creates a cushion just like the meniscus. Anyway, Westbrook is playing!!! Yeah! I think he will be on the injury report... At least until the bye week. Hopefully, he can make it to the bye week.
  4. That's an incorrect statement. There is a procedure to replace a meniscus. It's called a meniscal transplant. Check it out: http://orthoinfo.aaos.org/fact/thr_report....opcategory=Knee I actually had one so I'm not pretending to be the doctor here.
  5. This also happened to me. Actually, my opponent switched his lineup at the last minute and I had already started the CBS game center. I closed out of the game center then went back in and surprise, i was losing big time. I thought my opponent cheated but that wasn't the case. Have your brother read these posts if he doesn't believe you.
  6. thanks. didn't see it hidden under the other title. anyway, go bucks!
  7. Steelers reportedly pick up Patriots running back in trade Friday, September 01, 2006 By Ed Bouchette, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette The Steelers today acquired rookie running back Patrick Cobbs from the New England Patriots for an undisclosed draft pick, according to the Patriots' web site. A spokesman for the Steelers would not immediately confirm the deal. Cobb is a 5-9, 210-pounder who played at North Texas. http://www.postgazette.com/pg/06244/718325-100.stm Will he be the goal line back?
  8. Some kid posted info on myspace, slandering his principle. I guess you can't always believe what you read! Read this before you make judgement.... http://www.postgazette.com/pg/06036/649819.stm
  9. During the 2-week hype of the Super Bowl, many media outlets labeled the Super Bowl as Super Bore. Nothing controversial. No Owens comeback, no Brady fairytale, and no Payton Manning. Just two teams to matched skill for skill. Well, the media got their wish. They got a controversy through the claim of the referee's cheated the Seahawks. What better way than to stir the pot and have a story line other than the Bus, Cowher or Hines??
  10. Flashback... 2 weeks before the Super Bowl, it was referred to as Super Bore. The media and everyone else got what they wanted... A controversial story that catches the eye of the common fan. Let's recall the wonderful play calls during the regular season and most importantly, the playoffs. How about the Champ Bailey "fumble" at the 1 against the Pats? Or how about Troy's "incomplete interception" against the Colts? Each team has had calls go for them and against them during regular season and playoffs. That's part of the game - it could go your way or the other. It's just a matter of who can overcome it and who couldn't. Seattle made too many mistakes... Let's count the number of drops by Jeremy Stevens. Or how about the missed FG's. Or how about the poor clock management before the half or the end of the game. Or the fact that Mike H. punted the ball back to the Steelers down 11 points with 6 minutes left. Attention Seattle: You have a good team, but made too many mistakes in the Super Bowl. As a Steeler fan, I refuse to let this talk about the ref's ruin the well-deserved "one for the thumb!"
  11. cheesy. these cheesy posts do not represent all steeler fans....
  12. I find that funny... I have been a paying member of The Huddle for the past two years and plan to continue my membership next year as well. I respect their information the majority of the time. As far as calling out the writers for the Huddle... Now, if I listened to everything The Huddle said, especially during the Fantasy Football season, I would be called a pansy and someone who couldn't think for themselves. Ahhh... I guess you would expect all members to conform... Grow some chest hair. I'm sure they would respect someone speaking their mind than someone who has nothing between his legs. Anyway, this thread is off track. I request for them to close it... :
