  1. Dynasty League League Scoring WR = 6pts TD, 1 pt per reception, 1 pt per 10 yds starting at 30 increases to 2 pts at 90 yds, increases to 3pts at 130 yds. RB's McFadden Mathews Best Tolbert Delone Carter Roy Helu WR's Megatron Marshall Mike Williams (TB) Eric Decker I would like to pick up a WR. Looking at Cruz or Heyward-Bey. I am unsure about Mike Williams. Is it a Soph slump and he comes back next year?? Is he done and will never come back. I think Decker is a cut. Orton may have liked him but I am not sure that Tebow will. So he may not be worth keeping. I am in 1st place and would like to stay there. I believe Revis will make Marshall useless this week. That leaves me Wiliams as a starter this week. Worries me. Choices are: Cut Williams and Decker and pickup Cruz, Heyward-Bey Cut Decker And Helu pickup Cruz, Heyward-Bey Totally undecided. Any thoughts, suggestions, comments are welcome.
  2. Atlanta scores against the Panther this week. I'd put them in the 17 - 21 point range. They are too balanced for the Panthers. Jets will more than likely keep the Titans from rushing. Can they stop Collins is the question. They'd probably be my choice of he two. I am thinking that Atlanta beats the Panthers this week. Jets and Titans is close game.
  3. Hillis. PA papers have Westbrook hurting more than is let on. Plus the Ravens. SIT EM
  4. Can't bench Titans against any team. I am a NYG fan and would play the Titans against them. Cowboys don't have it yet and the 49ners are not a push over they use to be.
  5. Westbrook is not healty. I am from PA and the papers keep talking about how badly he is hurting. I'd go with Smith, Johnson & Jones. Smith against a tough team but he seems to be coming on. Johnson should be fighting mad to get his job back. Jones just keeps flowing.
  6. Tough call on the 3 choices. Harrison is improving. Stewart against tough D in Atlanta Breston could have a super game if Jints cover Boldin & Fitz. I'd try Harrison.
  7. I am in Yards Scoring League with Bonus starting at 90 yds for an RB and big bonus at 120 yds. Plus 6 pts for each TD. 1pt for every 10 yds start at 50. 2pt for every 10 yds start at 100. 100 yds = 7 pts. 3pt for every 10 yds start 1t 140. 140 yds = 17 pts Now the players. QB Brees Cutler WR Megatron Marshall Boldin Evans Starting Brees Sitting Evans this week and starting the other 3. So the Gamble is at RB. 3 Choices are Jacobs. MJD McFadden Jacobs hurting, will play some but I would not expect too much from him at all. I think the Jints will save him. MJD, may have shot his load the last couple of weeks. Might get 1 td and 40-50 yds. THE GAMBLE: yes this is where I was going Is McFadden ready for the big one against Denver. I am thinking YES. This is his break out week. I am thinking he might be good for the 90 - 120 range with a possible TD. Probably Fargas gets the TD. Yds would give me 5 - 11 pts with no TD. I am fighting for 1st place. Playing the 2nd place team in a bumper situation. They started Ben & Holmes last night. Got a little but not a lot in way of pts. So I am think I could waste the pick and gamble on McFadden. Relying on the WR's & QB to give me the win if he dies. Any other thoughts ?????????????????????
  8. Wow more options and differences then I ever thought there were. I've been in Fantasy Football since 1984, the league started in 1982. We have always felt that you are just like an NFL owner. You get to keep your starting lineup, which in our case is 7 players + a defense. There are limits, QB = 1, RB Min=1 Max=3, WR Min=1 Max=3, TE Min=0 Max=1 K Min=0 Max=1, DEF Min=1 Max=2. Total not to exceed 8. We then draft reverse order of the final standings. So the guy in last place has a chance to draft 1st in each round. The guy who won draft last in each round. We've had two years where the guy in last place went to 1st place. For the most part over the years someone in the top has moved up to 1st and the guy in last place will move into the top 5 or 6. This past year the guy in 1st place won the league 2 years in a row. Thats only happened once before. Remember these stats are over 20+ years with 4 owners from the original 1982 league. We've only changed 6 owners since 1982 and 3 owners since 1986. We have 10 teams in the league and feel that is the right number. For what its worth !
  9. My league counts this FOR the defense in both yards and TD's. We combine Defense and Special Teams into one category.
  10. Every predicition I see has the Eagles and Broncos game as a high scoring game. The Eagles 'D' stop LT. So it appears they will stop the Broncos running game. That leaves Plummer and the WR's to win this game. Yet no one seems to like Lelie this week. !!! Confused !!!!
  11. Thanks for the one reply. but I need more help here.
  12. Point System QB 1 pt per 20yds starting at 100 2 pt per 20yds starting at 300 4 pt per 20yds starting at 400 RB 1 pt per 10yds starting at 50 2 pt per 10yds starting at 90 4 pt per 10yds starting at 140 WR 1 pt per 10yds starting at 30 2 pt per 10yds starting at 90 4 pt per 10yds starting at 140 TE 1 pt per 10yds starting at 10 2 pt per 10yds starting at 80 3 pt per 10yds starting at 100 4 pt per 10yds starting at 140 TDs 6 pt per for all players QB Bress McCown RB Portis C. Williams WR Anguan Boldin Chris Chambers Lee Evans Ashley Lelie Kevin Curtis TE Heap Cooley League Starter Options: 1 QB 2 RB 2 WR 1 TE .....or 1 QB 1 RB 3 WR 1 TE .....or 1 QB 1 RB 2 WR 2 TE I have Brees penciled in as my QB - No Brainer I have Portis as my RB. The rest is open and completely & totally undecided. I have trouble sitting Boldin, but Parcels is pissed and I am sure his defense will be out for blood this week. It looks like Arizona will lose a lot of blood this week. Curtis has been hot lately, but Martin against the Jags just does not sit right. Bulger may come in but can he be worth anything. I am considering Lelie because Philly could give up some nice passing yards this week, but will Shanahan allow Plummer to let loose. He didn't last week and lost because of it. Evans is a wonder here. NE hasn't really stopped the pass that well so far. Holcomb is not that great. Is this a MaGhee week or a passing week. Chambers against the Saints. I guess god only knows who will show up this week for Miami because I can't figure this one. Now to add more fuel to the fire, this is a bumper week for us which means I play the team right next me in the standings, 1st vs 2nd, 3rd vs 4th, etc. A win this week can move you up in the standings. We get tremendous points for TE's in this league, if you look at the numbers above. I am so tempted to start Heap & Cooley as dumb as that sounds. Also the Williams situation in TB hurts real bad. If he was a definite the decision would be easier. I am tempted to start him and take whatever he gives me for the 1/2 he might play. Against the 49ners that could be a 100yds. Okay there I am and I need the HUDDLERS more than ever.
  13. Bump, Thanks for the help so far. Anyone else got any choices.
  14. He picked Vick & Hasselbeck as his QB's. Both are off this week. The league does scoring and yards, with bonus for yds over 300 & 400. He does not have many choices this week. Please don't laugh at the choice. He has to pick one of the lackluster bunch this week. He is in 1st place and this is a bumper week (1st vs 2nd, 3rd vs 4th, etc). So he needs the best option to help him out. 2nd place has Brunell, McGahee & Chad Johnson. He has Dillion, S. Jackson, Moss, Burelson, Byrant. Choices: Dilfer vs Hou Simms vs 49ner Garcia vs Bear Martin vs Jags Ferrotte vs Saint Garcia & Martin face defenses that could rule them out. Ferrotte has been struggling and could do 10 yds or 300 yds. Dilfer could revert back to his week 1/2 numbers this week. Simms seems like the best option but they may just run the ball all day with Williams in 1st half and Pittman in the 2nd half. So Simms may not need to throw at all. I think Simms or Dilfer is the call but I don't have the guts to make the call for him and pick the wrong one. Don't want it being my call that kills his 1st place hold, probably happen anyway, just don't make it my call. Any help! Any incite! will be greatly appreciated. -------------------- It's better to be Hated for who you are then be Loved for who you're not
