  1. I really point to Huard on this one. He is serviceable and wit a little more time and reps he's going to get some of those overthrown balls down and this offense will roll. Thygpen and Croyle are not ready. Huard can lead this team NOW and LJ will benefit, imho.
  2. Hey man, wow. These are tough options. They all have a lot of question marks so it will really come down to your gut feeling on this - I like Bush is McFadden is out this week. Looks like he may not be. Pierre Thomas is next on my list. I voted for Thomas.
  3. I need to decide between these three guys for my RB2 and FLEX spot. (.5 PPR and 6 points for TDs) I like Smith's matchup vs. SF this weekend but the risk is that Detroit falls behind and abandons the running game again. The Huddle projects him nicely going up against Martz's new team in SF but I am seriously wavering on this guy. He looks like a capable RB but he doesn't have the oline or the looks. Is this the week Detroit pounds the rock to prove a point? I also have the newly acquired Darren Sproles ad have been monitoring the LT turf toe situation. I would put money on him being limited on this one (Chargers beat writer is saying 10 touches) and Sproles looked capable last week, knows the offense, and can slice up the D with his speed. Santonio Holmes is my likely starter at the flex spot. He got it going last week but has not scored a TD since week 11 of last year. Rothlisberger has a shoulder issue but supposedly its all good. If Holmes can get behind Philly's secondary, and Roth can get it to him, he could be in for a very nice day. Who would you start at the RB2 and Flex spots here? I am leaning Sproles and Holmes. Thanks and will answer yours.
  4. Who would be your #3 RB - Thomas Jones?
  5. Sure, sure. But I would look to get someone with a little more upside than Chad. I don't think the Bungles are doing anything this year - especially a guy with a torn labrum.
  6. Scheffler has been a nice surprise for me and is looking like a beast in a pass heavy Denver offense. I pegged Scheff end of last year to do big things this year and am hesitant to let him go. However, I've been offered Laverneus Coles and Owen Daniels for Scheffler. With Reggie Brown ailing (and most of my receivers having a week 4 bye), would you do this trade? I'd have to drop a defense- Buffalo or Tennessee. Thanks and will answer yours.
  7. I've had the problem on my computer and so did my buddy today over at his house today (he's a graphic designer with state of the art stuff). I think its Yahoo and it sucks.
  8. Grabbed Sproles today but anyone have any info on Hester? Rookie, I know, but I watched him at LSU and he was good. Any chance he steps in and plays a significant role this season?
  9. I'm rolling with Rackers this year because ARI has a moderately difficult schedule and weapons to move the ball. They also seem to slow down in the red zone. After yesterday's showing, Elam looked strong (dome kicker is always nice for later in the year) and Kasay just because it looks like CAR could be scoring some points this year and keeping opposing teams off the field. Which could result in some more field goal opportunities. I'd rank them Rackers Kasay Elam
  10. Tough to say - I dropped Bruce and picked up the Tennessee D to pair with my Buffalo D. I wold have to drop one of these defense to pick up Miller. Still do it?
  11. I currently have Scheffler in the starting lineup but his #2 position on the depth chart and no guarantees makes me nervous. I'm up 15 points going up against a guy who has the Minny D and McFadden. In other words, I need to score some points. Who do you like this week? Scheffler - no Marshall, should see time as a WR Z. Miller - Russell's security blanket, good hands, and one of OAK's only receiving threats
  12. I watched both games today and was impressed with the way Jones was running - hitting holes much harder this year. LJ had a rough time finding running room (swing passes were effective) but he consistently ran up the backs of his blockers and was down. I'd look into acquiring TJones. The pieces are there.
  13. But what on TJ's resume in the past two years justifies valuing him over LJ right now? Let's talk after today's games. You may be right but I wouldn't put him over LJ until we've played some football.
