  1. For me, I go with Hasselbeck. He's been ballin' this year.
  2. My record is 3-1. Yes I have Julio Jones, not Jacoby Jones. It's not a TE mandatory league. Yes it's 12 teams. I just checked QB waivers, and I'm a little embarrassed. Hasselbeck is there. Otherwise there is Campbell, Cutler, TJax, Dalton, Bradford and the other usual suspects. I've just put in to acquire Hasselbeck. If I do, I lean towards trading for Maclin now.
  3. If you feel that you need WR help, and given the limited info you have, I think you'll be happy with Dez, despite the injuries. Comment please: http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=364918
  4. I second the choice to go with the twins. I trust Tolbert more than Ingram at this time. I agree with your Ingram assessment, but still recommend Tolbert. Comment please: http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=364918
  5. Tough spot. I lean towards Ingram as I see him scoring a TD this game. And yeah, by a thin margin, I would probably go with Shonne too. Comment please: http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=364918
  6. Moss and Maclin have equal value. Trading one for the other is like people rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic. It's pointless. So adding Olsen is just a trade that helps the other team and in a minor way, hurts you. Comment please: http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=364918
  7. I take Nelson for sure. Probably Benson for the second choice. The second choice is the only debatable option in this decision, IMO. http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=364918
  8. Wow, that's a lot of scoring. You guys must be action junkies. Because of all the points for pass attempts and pass completions, I would lean towards owning a very high quality QB. Newton is throwing a high high number of passes per game and is unusually accurate. Cam Newton is a great choice. Because it's a block buster trade, I'd consider shopping Jennings around, but don't fret if you don't get better than Newton. http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=364918
  9. Very easy decline. Mainly because you have a good lineup already. Daniel Thomas has a as much upside as Mendy. I have a low opinion of Ridley. Pittsburg's O-line is suspect. In other words, the risk to both is equal and Thomas has demonstrated more success than Mendy. Also, Thomas hamstring injury has had 3 weeks, repeat 3 weeks to heal. He should be 100% by week 6. http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=364918
  10. Is it a PPR league? Performance scoring? I prefer Steve Smith over Jennings. But both are great fantasy WRs.
  11. It's been my experience that players play unusually well on MNF, and tend to lean towards that variable when I'm on the fence. Good luck. http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=364918
  12. who is your current QB? What QBs are on waivers? What's your complete lineup? What's your point structure?
  13. So after some furious trade negotiations for the past few days post week 4, I made the following trade: See my lineup/roster in my signature below. I receive Chris Johnson. I give Brandon Marshall, Daniel Thomas, Ray Lewis, Takeo Spikes. Anyhow, with all my trade discussions with multiple teams I was offered the following additional trade: I get Jeremy Maclin and I give Matt Ryan, my backup QB. The offer is still open, so I can accept it, but I'm thinking I won't. Am I crazy? Here's my thinking. 1) Players in my starting lineup, not on my bench, win championships. Reason to accept the trade. 2) The marginal improvement of Maclin over J. Jones or V. Davis is maybe 2 points a week on average. Not worth the risk of losing Cam Newton who is an unproven commodity later in the season. In other words I'm willing to sacrifice 2 points a week for the security of having a solid backup QB. This is a strange spot for me. In a vacuum, this decision goes against every fiber in my being. But it feels right this time. Your thoughts?
  14. Picked him up for $1 in my Auction league. Started him over Matt Ryan in Week 2, 'cos that's how I roll.
