  1. Hehe. Maybe we can get lots of garbage time points? I'll take them any way I can get them.
  2. Of course. I started Holt, so of course they have to be getting pounded by the f**king TEXANS.
  3. Anyone else have any insight? If I don't win this week I'm done.
  4. So I just picked up Martin AND McMahon off of waivers in a desperate attempt to catch lightening in a bottle. Here are the choices: Favre @ PHI Martin @ HOU McMahon vs GB Roethlisberger @ IND I don't think I like the Big Ben start in case he doesn't play. My league won't require me to make the choice until game day, but my fear is that PIT gets behind and pulls him to be safe. He's certainly the most consistent guy I've got when he's on the field. Favre darn near cost me the game and any chance at the playoffs last week with those two picks. I managed to squeek out a 1pt victory. That guy's supporting cast is sooooo bad it isn't even funny. Guys dropping balls all night long. :doah:
  5. Pick 2: Dunn vs TB McGahee @ SD G. Jones @ TEN Pick 2: Holt vs ARI S. Smith @ CHI Galloway @ ATL Matt Jones @ TEN Normally these are easy but my RBs have been killing me since Holmes went down. I like G. Jones against TEN, but more than McGahee? I'm 95% sure I'm starting Holt and keeping Matt Jones on the bench at WR, but Smith and Galloway seem like almost a tossup because of the matchup differences. HELP!
  6. I don't have time right now to read the whole thread but let's keep in mind he wasn't 4th on the chart until a few weeks ago in GB. He was in camp with KC where he didn't make the cut with Holmes, Johnson, and Tony Richardson. Well duh. Green Bay brought him in and he's been very serviceable. He's a smart kid (I think they said he was in medical school?) and seems to have the physical tools. He also has something to prove. This isn't a guy that's been around the league and never made it past practice squad, this is only his second team. Not cracking the starting lineup with KC isn't really a big knock on anyone. Keep in mind KC saw enough potential to bring him in and chill him on the practice squad.
  7. I'm carrying around two iffy QBs (Favre and Brunell) and one injured mediocre one (Roethlisberger). Right now Big Ben is the most consistent scoring QB I have if he could get back on the field. Favre should get better now that they've found a running game and he has a couple of receivers getting healthier. Brunell, however, has been bad the last three weeks. Just plain aweful, and I don't see an excuse for it. So, is it time to end the experiment and take my flyer somewhere else? Maybe a Matt Jones, Adrian Peterson, heck even Harrington. Whadda ya think?
  8. I traded for him a couple of weeks ago. That's why he hasn't done squat and is now in the locker room injured. For this I am sorry.
  9. Favre was who I had lined up. Thanks for the support.
  10. Ok, I need to figure out if Favre or Brunell is going to have a better day. Hopefully Big Ben is back next week...
  11. I straight up released KJ. Couldn't handle any more of his crap. He simply can't be relied on to have a decent game or to finish a game. The Lions are so bad that other teams could play 12 men in the box (yes I know it's 11 a side).
  12. Ah-ha. Here is something I didn't know. I thought Reed and Lewis were still out. Uh, McGahee and Dunn it is. Thanks everyone.
  13. Pick two to start: McGahee vs KC Dunn vs GB Greg Jones (JAX) vs BAL Normally I say McGahee and Dunn, no question. But Jones is starting and the Ravens are all jacked up. KC's run D is the best thing they have going. I guess I'm a little nervous about McGahee because he's new to my team in week 9, so he hasn't played a game for me yet.
  14. Dunn. All day, every day. He's at home vs. GB (who is horrible) and the other two guys are RBBC. Bell may go off, but he may not. Dunn will get his 80 and a TD with 20 or 30 receiving and could go for significantly more.
  15. Ok, so Steve Smith is a lock. I'm hearing good things about Holt's health, so I'm leaning his direction over Galloway. Any advice?
