  1. Who did you think would go as the first WR?
  2. Well, I'm not a huge fan of the scoring. I'd much rather prefer a more tradition scoring/starting requirements. But this is a league that I've been in with my boys for the last 8 years, so I tough it out. My next pick, at 2.12, was Pierre Thomas. By then Moss, Wayne, Calvin Johnson, Brandon Marshall, Fitz, Miles Austin, Roddy White, and DeSean Jackson were selected in addition to AJ. In my mind it was between Thomas and Jamaal Charles and I decided to take the safe pick. I picked up Charles in week 7 last year and he certainly was a help to me making the playoffs and winning the league. So I know what he is capable of. But with Thomas Jones in the mix, I really didn't think I could take the risk with my RB1. After I took Thomas Jamaal Charles went 3 picks later. In rounds 3 and 4 I took WRs and Addai in the 5th round. Portis, Bush, Spiller, Moreno, and Jerome Harrison were the next 5 RBs taken after Addai. I then picked up Hightower in round 18.
  3. I took AJ #5 overall in a 18-team league yesterday. CJ, MJD, AD, and Rice went #1-4. I could have taken Gore but I wasn't sold on him. Our league starts 1 QB, 1 RB, 1 TE, 3 WRs, and 1 flex. Rec TDs are 9 points and each reception is worth 1.5 pts (pass TDs are 5 pts and rushing TDs are 7 pts). I wouldn't be picking again until the 23rd overall so I really wanted a stud and AJ was there so I took him.
  4. Yeah, but Curtis is coming back soon. And Reggie Jackson is getting back in the game. VJax is solid and proven, go with him.
  5. No I think that was fine. There is no point in having 3 QBs.
  6. ehhhhhhhhh none of them look that good. Watch for news on Westbrook and maybe go after Buckhalter if he's going to be out for more than a few weeks. Other than that, hold onto that #1 priority. There will be a RB that will go out for the year and you can be there to grab the new starter.
  7. I wold try to trade McGahee if it is a deep league. Maybe even bundle him with a WR to upgrade at WR. If not, yes, get Slaton.
  8. Team B won big time. Half of the players that team A got probably wont play after this year!
  9. Chambers or Royal, Royal or Chambers.
  10. Im not sure that DeSean Jackson has much more of an upside to where he is. Brown and Curtis will come back and when they do DeSean is gonna have to split his numbers three ways. I'm not sure if you can get Greg Jennings, but go for it if you can. You might need to reset your expectations closer to a Bryant Johnson/Santana Moss/Roy Williams type.
  11. I dont think I would go after TO with Moss. You'd be selling Moss at a low right now (he needs to practice more than 3 days with someone before they 'click' and people might be scared he continues to go for 2 rec and 22 yards as he did last week). You'd also be getting TO on a high (89 yds and 2 TDs). Also, what is the other person short at? You have Collins who will do well in Tenn hasn't proved anything yet, neither has Griese or Thigpen. They could have value in a few weeks but right now they are at a low. The same with MJD. The Jags WILL get it going and MJD will be a huge part of it. So for night now, I think you need to sit with Moss. He wont get any worse that this past week.
  12. Im confused. Why cant you play Andre and CJ?
  13. Jennings (this game will be like Philly/Dallas this past Monday. It has shootout written all over it) And I'd also go with Smith. He wants to prove something and has a chip on his shoulder. Look for 100 yards at least.
