  1. I normally don't ask on these, but I am just plain stumped on this. Need one Johnson vs. Green Bay Mason vs. NO Cotchery vs. Cle Any thoughts would be delightful.
  2. Oh, yeah! I switched to Morency! Beat THAT!
  3. You'd start him because he's had the same on/off injury all season, and still racked up multiple big games. If he's playing, you start him. If he's not, anyone with him on the roster needs to know.
  4. I think Cotchery is the safer play. I haven't seen the numbers for looks, but from what the games I've seen, Cotchery gets more balls thrown his way than does Berrian. Berrian is of course the potential homerun hitter.
  5. I don't think God would allow us to know how this would end. All of our heads would explode from awesomeness by the end of the 1st quarter.
  6. +1 (although I might also have gone with Clark at TE, but that doens't signify)
  7. More than a fair response, considering how unclear I have been. I do think this trade is unfair, in the sense that I think getting LJ for Fragile Fred is a steal, especially in the wake of Jones-Drew. However, I don't know when to lady dog. This is my first time in a money league (played in a couple free leagues last season). I meant to pose a question (out of frustration, and as I admitted previously, jealousy to an extent) wherein I knew I was to get hammered by Huddlers, rather than be "that guy" in my actual league. Thanks to everyone for calling me out. Although, in my own defense, and in interest of full disclosure, I haven't ever been concerned with other team's trades before. This is the first time I've looked and even had a doubt about a trade. Should have been more clear that this was more of an etiquette/"I'm a dumb@$#^, right?" question. Thanks again.
  8. That's cool, my thought is that trading an injury prone and likely to be splitting carries back for a guy who is a legit #1 back (albeit on a crappy team) makes me salivate. And jealous I didn't think of it first. But I also realize that maybe I'm being paranoid, and maybe I'm undervaluing Taylor. And if that's the case, then I'm happy to be smacked upside the head by other Huddlers, whose opinions I respect. And yes, it's early to say it's a three team race (and tempting awful wrath), and I can't fully explain without posting other folk's rosters, but I'm in a league where Chicago's defense went before Brian Westbrook. I'm not trying to sound like an ass by that statement. Just my gut, based on draft and first three weeks.
  9. So I'm in a league where the early returns suggest a 3 team race (glad to be one of the three). My primary opponent of concern (beat me by <10 points last week, while my LT2 horse was on bye) is about to get Lamont Jordan for Fred Taylor. My thought is that I'm just bitter, but there's a tiny (probably jealous) part of me that thinks that this is just ri-g.d.-diculous, and wants to pitch a fit to the commish. I'm just curious what other Huddlers think. Feel free to yell at me, if that's your gut instinct.
  10. I have the same thing, but I'm going with Cotchery, and here's why: 1)Indy has allowed other teams to throw on them, when the quaterback wasn't a complete waste (I'm not saying Leftwich was terrible, but he was abysmally bad ) Eli had 247 and 2 TD passes; David Carr went 22/26 with 3. 2) McNair is really ugly looking this year. Like, really, really ugly. They escaped Cleveland thanks mostly to Chaz Frye goofing terribly, a good defense (increasingly banged up) and Stover being money. As much as I hate saying this, Cotchery has a better QB. 3) Yes, SD hasn't played anybody, but I'm not convinced that Indy's schedule to date is as much as we thought it could be. So I don't think you get to ignore the fact that SD's pass defense comes so highly rated, particularly with the washed up QB factor. 4) Cotchery is close to being my man crush for 2006 fantasy purposes. I'm sure I'm waaaaaaay in the minority on this, but them's my thoughts. Good luck either way: hopefully they both go off, and you and I can rest happy either way.
  11. I am within one/two good games of having a minor man crush on Cotchery. And at flex, his upside has to be at least as good as Dayne's. Plus, don't they play Indy? Meaning, they'll be down 20 and having to throw most of the game?
  12. I dunno. In a PPR league, I think Cotchery should be considered over Bryant. Where else is Pennington going to look, and NE doesn't look like Super Bowl material on either side of the ball. And I'm by no means sold on the 49ers' passing attack being better the Jets'.
