Out for Thanksgiving game http://www.mlive.com/lions/weblog/ Kevin Jones out for Thanksgiving Day game Running back Kevin Jones has been ruled out of Thursday's game against the Dolphins. Jones suffered an ankle injury against the Cardinals and the Lions are concerned that it might be a high ankle sprain which could keep Jones sidelined for a couple of weeks. The Lions are expected to give a more definitive report on Jones' status later today. Arlen Harris and Aveion Cason, who both joined the team in recent weeks, will share time at running back in Jones' absence. The Lions are already without their top two backups -- Shawn Bryson and Brian Calhoun -- who are on injured reserve with knee injuries.

Thanks for posting that. I missed that particular update and I enjoyed reading it. The NFL can certainly use more men like the Big Marine. It worked out for Mike Anderson, here's to hoping that it works out for Ahmard Hall.
