  1. I've gotta start him due to Kevin Smith's season ending injury. I can only hope for 10-15 touches. That's really all Westy needs to get the way the Philly offense is playing and spreading the wealth. On another note, McCoy really isn't tearing it up rushing the ball. He is getting his catches but I think McCoy's fantasy value takes the biggest hit.
  2. Does anyone know the status of DeAngelo Williams ankle injury? Is it a serious high ankle sprain or is it just a one week issue?
  3. I know Westy's return is iffy but if he can come back healthy and well rested, he could crush during the fantasy playoffs. Any homers out there know what the Eagles plans/timetables are if his tests come back positive? Here's to hoping for his return come week 15. Yeah I know McCoy is playing well but a helthy Westbrook could give the Eagles a huge boost for the playoffs.
  4. Most guys on this forum say sportsline sucks but I've always liked their leagues. MFL is probably the best but here's a good one I've been using the last couple of years: http://fantasybowl.com/
  5. That could be good or bad news fantasy wise. Can we expect the same formula this week like the Cleveland game? Palmer really hasn't done much this year outside of the Bear game. He's typically around 200 yards and a TD....yuck. I'm only complaining because my starter Warner is still seeing stars.
  6. The Bengals offense seems to be getting more and more conservative every week. Palmer and Ochostinko have done absolutely nothing the last 4 weeks. What gives and why have the Bengals become so happy with running the ball like crazy all of a sudden? It's almost like they are trying to protect Palmer as if he was a rookie QB. Is it just me or have the Bengals decided to kill Palmer's and Ochostinko's fantasy value?
  7. I really wouldn't change much. The goal is to always draft the best players for the best value. The real skill in FF drafting is to know who to draft and when to draft them. I'm much more concerned about the NFL actually being stupid enough to expand the season to 18 games. It's already hard enough for guys to play for 16 games. The 18 game season would have a huge effect on FF. I think it would be for the worse.
  8. Rodgers just seems to spread the ball around so much it's difficult for him to be consistent fantasy wise. Also throw in the fact that the Packers just aren't using him that well in the offense but that's just my opinion and a bummed out Jennings owner. It's tricky because he's capable of exploding but it just hasn't happened much this year.
  9. Sounds like a dumb league to me. That's not adding strategy, that's inflicting pain and torture. That doesn't make any sense what so ever.
  10. It looks like the new Bills coaching staff has at least figured out how to use their best weapon TO. The question is can he be trusted to put into your starting line-up every week? With Fitzpatrick at QB it's hard to start TO with confidence but I also don't want to keep seeing him light up my bench. Decisions, decisions. Anybody else in the same boat or have something else to add?
  11. It looks like Brent is beating his chest a bit. I don't recall the details of the bet but I'm in...win or lose. Sorry for not seeing this thread earlier. I've been MIA a lot this year.
  12. I too Capt. Stanky have been right there with you on MJD. The man is a beast and fantasy gold....always has been. However, most of the doubters had issues with durability or if MJD could hold up to the additional touches. Thus far he has, but he still needs to get thru the full season. So don't pat yourself on the back just yet. BTW- MJD is my clear cut no.1 overall pick next year as he was this year. A lot of guys will be jumping on Chris Johnson but I doubt he can duplicate his current pace and do it again next year. MJD is just money in the bank, even in a so-so offense.
  13. This is why it's so difficult to compare QB's from team to team. Sometimes the system makes a player better than he is and sometimes the supporting cast makes a player better than he is. For instance there have been many discussions on this board about how Kurt Warner should be a hall of famer. Maybe he should, but throwing the rock to HALL OF FAME receivers in their prime like Bruce, Holt, Boldin and Fitz certainly help. Bulger's true lack of talent is showing up now that he has a lot less to work with.
  14. I said party atmosphere nothing about the hot bartender chicks. There is no way I would be doing a draft in the middle of a party with other guests all over the place. That is amateur stuff.....
