  1. IMO you don't move CJ2K without being blown away with a deal. If the guys in your league think that you're down on CJ you're not going to receive any valid offers. There are worse things to happen then to be stuck with CJ and you can always trade him later. Breaston shouldn't have been mentioned when making an offer for CJ. Let me hear 2 stud names and then I'll consider listening to your offer. With Tennessee's offense totally revolving around CJ, hold onto him and ride him into the postseason.
  2. I totally agree with Scare Tactics on this one. As an Eagles fan I'm not "excited" about McCoy and Vernon is a stud!
  3. Go with Vernon Davis and you will LOVE getting "stuck" with Kolb in the draft.
  4. I can keep either or both w/o penalty. Just not gonna keep both as I have other spots more vital. It is a 10 team auction with Schaub costing $24 and Brady $35 out of a $250 cap. Not too concerned about the $ costs as I have plenty of other high value players cheap. More looking at production for this year and the future. Neither QB will be this cheap once they hit auction again. Also looking at keeping R. Moss but that doesn't make my Brady decision either way. Thanks for you input!
  5. Who the hell do I pick as my keeper? Brady or Schaub? tough dilemma but not the worst thing to have to deal with
  6. I am looking to find a web site that will impartiality assess a trade that was made in my fantasy football league. Any direction would be great. Thanks
  7. Wolv, I'd keep the trash talking to a minimum and bring some extra goodies to the draft (beer and food) (wine for the ladies) and be nice all year long. Why upset the gravy train. Leave the trash talking for people who would appreciate it. Do you need a partner?? lol
  8. I run a keeper league. We acquire players via auction. You can protect 5 players each year but their salary increases 20% if you keep him. This 20% increase allows the big priced players to be available on a more frequent basis. We also conduct a supplemental draft where you can draft anyone you choose: pro, college, high schooler your buddy. This supplemental pick is given a dollar value. If he is activated he has a $ figure for the following year. Any free agent p/u salary is doubled if kept the following year. I'm leaning towards starting a dynasty league for all the reasons posted previously. Just make sure that you have dedicated players for your league. It's different from the annual redraft where continuity isn't as important. Trades can have long lasting repercussions when an undedicated owner bails on a league.
  9. If these guys want you as "commish for life" then step up as their leader and voice your opinion as an owner and also as the "leader" of this well established league. You could try the other variation where there are 2 wins to be had each week... 1 for the straight heads up win and the other for the top half of scoring in the league that week. This allows the team who loses to the top scorer in a week by a point to still go 1-1 for the week. If they're worried about getting screwed, even though they may have accumulated the most points throughout the season, then give a larger payout for most points in the regular season. There is always going to be the bad beats when you lose to the highest point getter in a week and the other guys are squeaking by with 20 points. But there is nothing that you can do about it when you set your lineup. I hope that your looking to start the highest point totalers on a weekly basis, not worrying who your opponent is starting. Unfortunately, alot of guys do not take well to change...but if they're willing to radically change your playing schedule then a playoff system shouldn't be out of the question. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!
