  1. I need to strengthen my WR spot. Currently I have G. Jennings, Santonio Holmes, Reggie Brown and Roy Williams. Apart from Jennings nobody else on my squad has stepped up. I've been offered a trade of Braylon Edwards and Jerious Norwood for Correl Buckhalter and Jonathan Stewart. My other RB are Brandon Jacobs, Marshawn Lynch and Pierre Thomas. I feel like I'm sacrificingl my RB depth for a very questionable WR. Does anyone see Edwards playing up to his preseason hype?
  2. I'm in need of a wide receiver. I currently have M. Harrison, P. Crayton and Donald Driver. My QBs are McNabb, JT O'Sullivan and K. Warner. I've been offered Boldin for McNabb. Should I take it? To complicate matters, it's a keeper league.
  3. I need an upgrade in the TE position. Todd Heap played like a heap of crap. Should I drop him for Dante Rosario who seemed to be clicking with Delhomme? Or should I be patient and wait it out? I don't have room on my roster for 2 TE to see who pans out. Your thoughts please.
  4. I'm in a new 14 team league which not only is a keeper league but also includes IDP. I've never played with defensive players so I'm not sure how much weight to give them. In this league we only start 2 IDP along with our offense. When should I consider drafting defense? To make it even more confusing, this is a keeper league and the first draft of said league so I really don't want to mess this up as I'll have to deal with the repercussions for seasons to come. Any strategies or exercises I can go through to determine player values? Thanks for any suggestions As a reference I pasted our scoring for the defensive side. (offensive scoring is standard with points per reception included) ATK - Assisted Tackles (ID only) 2 points BFB - Blocked Field Goals (ID/ST/DST) 20 points BFTD - Blocked Field Goal Touchdown (ID/ST/DST) 60 points BP - Blocked Punts (ID/ST/DST) 10 points BPTD - Blocked Punt Touchdown (ID/ST/DST) 60 points BXP - Blocked Extra Points (ID/ST/DST) 10 points DFR - Defensive/ST Fumble Recovered (ID/DT/DST) 20 points DFRTD - Defensive Fumble Recovery TD (ID/DT/DST) 60 points DTD - Total Defensive and Special Teams TD 0 points FF - Forced Fumble 10 points Int - Interceptions 20 points IntTD - Interception TD 60 points KRTD - Kick Return TD (ID/ST/DST) 60 points PRTD - Punt Return TD (ID/ST/DST) 60 points SACK - Sack 10 points STY - Safety 20 points TK - Tackle (ID/DT/DST) 5 points We have standard scoring on offense with points per reception.
  5. I have both Tony Romo and Derek Anderson on my roster and need a solid #2 RB. I am considering trading Romo for Kevin Jones from Detroit. Is this a good trade or should I ask for more value considering Romo is the #2 leading FF scorer? My league is standard scoring w/PPR and I must start a TE. (I could use an upgrade here also) My roster is: QB: T. Romo, D. Anderson RB: J. Addai, Thomas Jones (Huge disappointment), Sammy Morris, Chester Taylor, Echemandu Adimchinobe WR: Chad Johnson, Greg Jennings, Bobby Engram, Brandon Stokely TE: Eric Johnson K: A. Vinitieri D: Ravens
  6. I'm in a 12 team league with standard scoring with PPR included. What do you think is the best RB with the 8th pick in the first round? In most mocks I've seen the options looking something like: Reggie Bush, Willie Parker, Travis Henry, Laurence Maroney, M.J. Drew... Of this caliber RB, is there one that jumps out or do they all seem interchangeable? I'm leaning towards Bush only because of the PPR but I'm not convinced. Any thoughts? Thanks for any advice.
  7. How serious is his back injury? The guy has been on the injury report all season so there's no telling how bad it is. My other option is Arnaz Battle v. Arizona...
  8. Go ROMO. TO will be looking for revenge and will play inspired football.
  9. My #2 RB choice is between C. Taylor and Ron Dayne. (Heh Taylor Dayne, remember her?) Anyway, I'm leaning heavily towards Dayne since he appears to have momentum and has a great matchup. Should I even consider a broke down Taylor? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Although it's almost a moot point since I'm up against LT.
  10. I haven't done your bye week homework, but if you don't have any conflicts I would pull the trigger. Assuming you start 2 RB, LT and Steven Jackson are is a formidable lineup. One if not both is likely to go off on a weekly basis.
  11. Nothing is more frustrating than leaving the game winning points on your bench. My team is fairly decent but my two losses this season were a result of me starting the wrong players. I do my research and go with who I think is the best choice but got burned the last two weeks. Maroney goes off when I start C. Taylor who stumbles for 20 something yards. A. Green has probably his best game of the year when I bench him for Maroney who has his crappiest game this season. My new strategy is to throw out my options to you people and go with the consensus. My options are: WR:T.O. (I'm playing him for sure), L. Coles., G. Jennings, Reggie Williams RB: L.J. (Automatic Starter), L. Maroney, Chester Taylor, Ahman Green I can start 2 RB and 2 WR or 1 RB and 3 WR. What would you do?
  12. I'm a Niners fan and have been following them closely. Given the state of our D, I would start any wide receiver who plays against us. Our pass rush is ineffective which give opposing QBs plenty of time to pick apart our secondary. That plus the fact that the strength of the D is the line backers (E. James had around 70 yards rushing against the niners week 1) Bulger will have plenty of opportunities to make plays it's just a matter of luck whether I. Bruce is on the other end of them.
  13. I have Kellen Winslow and have been offered a trade for Vernon Davis straight up. Any thoughts?
