  1. Thanks, interesting. I just have a bad feeling about Favre this year but it's a good point. Has Brown really been going that low? Remember I can keep him next year as well... so if he's The Man next year in Indy that makes his value pretty huge. Where has Brown been going in drafts so far?
  2. Oh yeah, standard scoring, non-PPR. 4 point passing TDs.
  3. My league switched to keepers last year so this is the first year we have to select our keepers. We get to keep 3 max keepers and take them in the slot 2 rounds lower than where they were drafted the prior year. I think that's pretty common. We can also only keep players a max 3 seasons and only one FA keeper per year. Anyway, here's who I'm looking at and what round I'd have to select them in: Knowshon Moreno - 4th Darren Sproles - 5th Brett Favre - 9th Donald Brown - 10th Shonn Greene - 10th Robert Meachem - 12th Mike Sims-Walker - 15th Greene and Sims-Walker are no-brainers. I'm strugging with the 3rd keeper though. Anyone got any thoughts? I was thinking Favre but I have a bad feeling about this year and he's useless in '11 (supposedly). I was going to go with Donald Brown because Addai will finally be gone probably in '11, but now I'm worried Brown is just going to be using a slot on my bench all year, which will be tough. We can have a max 5 RBs on our roster. Moreno is the best alternative to Brown, but he was so inconsistent last year and his hamstring is also worrying. Oh I should also mention I have two 4th round picks due to a trade last year. So I can probably pick up Moreno in the 4th possibly anyway? Where's he been going? Anyone have any thoughts or advice? Thanks!
  4. Dallas D is good, plus Manning on the road, plus crappy Giant offense and no Tiki Barber. My brain still says Manning but my gut says Smith.
  5. Kicker taken too early. I'd probably keep Olsen. It looks like he's not going to be out long. Grab Zach Miller probably... I've heard good things about him. He may be the only receiving option available in Oakland's crappy offense anyway. You can't go wrong with Clark either until Olsen is healthy. If you drop Olsen someone else will probably grab him.
  6. Rudi Johnson is dependable I guess but you won't win any championships with him. I had him last year. Won't draft him again. Man is he ever slow. Plus Cincinnati loves to pass inside the 5 yard line, which you will soon find out. I would have gone with Henry.
  7. I saw a good tip about autodrafting the other day. Add all kickers and team defenses to the "exclude" list (except maybe the team defenses you really want like Baltitmore or Chicago). Don't even draft a kicker. Pick one up after the draft is over.
  8. So Jones probably better than Ginn Jr.? I suppose the answer is yes. Both would just be bench guys for me anyway unless they break out.
  9. Be patient with Benson. He's a back that gets stronger as the game goes on. I think preseason doesn't really show off his strengths. Plus Chicago hasn't ever had their starting OL on the field yet this preseason. I think he'll be OK.
  10. I really want to pick up Jacoby Jones in my league but the only guy I can really drop for him is Ted Ginn Jr. I'm thinking Jones is looking better. Anyone agree? I suppose I could drop Dwayne Jarrett instead but I'm pretty optimistic about him, though it may take a few games into the season. Thanks!
  11. Actually I'd start Gore. Cadillac seems a bit Fragillac. Gore looked real good in the preseason and last year. And I think SF is overall improved this year. Still not a good team, but no longer terrible.
  12. I can't decide whether to start Vick or Kitna at QB this weekend (yeah I waited a bit too long for QBs in my draft). Seattle has a below-average pass defense... but it's Detroit! Yet Martz and a new staff in general are there... Vick is playing a tough Carolina D and he always does poorly against Carolina. So I'm leaning towards switching my starter to Kitna. Any thoughts?
  13. Yahoo is saying that Henderson is the new #2 WR for the Saints now that Stallworth is gone. However the New Orleans area papers are basically saying Colston is the current #2. Anyone know? Seems like with Brees at QB and the D keying on Horn and Bush, the N.O. #2 might get some decent stats.
  14. As a Bears fan I learned a lot about George when he was picked up as a 3rd QB a couple seasons ago. His attitude has been blown totally out of proportion. He's fine. In fact compared to guys like T.O. these days he's a model citizen. I think it was a smart move for the Raiders. I bet George still has some life in his arm. I'll take George over someone like J.P. Losman, I'll tell ya that.
  15. So who is going to be the New Orleans #2 WR? Henderson or Colston? Seems like Colston to me, and might be a good pickup... just need to figure out if I should drop Brandon Lloyd or Michael Clayton for him...
