  1. We had a guy one year draft Trung Canidate with the 2nd pick in the 2nd round and then walk away declaring that was his sleeper pick. I don't know about your leagues but I am not taking a sleeper pick in the 2nd round when there are so many wide awake guys you can take. I have been playing multiple years in multiple leagues and have picked players that were already taken many times. That is not that big of a gaffe. You take a little crap from your league, pick another player, slug back another beer and move on.
  2. Laughable, jealousy and envy? The only thing that he has made of himself is an embarassment. What he has made himself is unemployed. Good for him he had made himself into an idiot. Sit out all year VJ. Enjoy. AJ should be treated as the hero he is, thanks for standing up to this tool AJ. Lord of the righteous. I wish I could get a DWI, let down my team and think I am better than I am. Darnit.
  3. The obvious Jack Ass in all of this is two fold, Vincent Jackson and his two agents. He had a 3.28 million dollar offer on the table and rejected it. Not AJ's Fault. He has put himself in a position, DWI and staying out all night in a strip bar until 3 AM the night before the Chargers loss to the Jets in the playoffs, that is not real envyabile. In a day an age where the criminals and malcontents are rewarded everytime they want to renegotiate or just feel they are the best there ever was I find it refreshing that the Chargers are putting their foot down and saying no. There is too much uncertianty looming with the lock out and Jackson isn't all that good. Phillip Rivers will make Malcom Floyd as desirable as Jackson by the end of the year. If 3.28 mill isn't enough, sure would be for me for one year, then damn right I want a second and third for him. If another team isn't willing to give that up then so be it, sit out a year and listen to your agents tell you how good you are. Personally speaking as a life long Charger fan I want Jackson to sit out all year and see what he can get next year if there is one. If he sits out two years then he is done and never gets more than 3.28 a year. Then he can get a job like the rest of us and kick himself in the face everytime some one says yeah I remember you your the one that turned down 3.28 for one year, I'll take fries with that! Good ridence Jackson and I hope those two agents have a job for you when you are out of the league in another couple of years.
  4. Good one. I hope he doesn't mind you speaking for him like that, Hell gets quite warm.
  5. I wasn't thinking anyone was ingnoring me, although I wish you had. I was merely suggesting that the information about this move to inactive was missing. No one has this information and I am scratching my head at why. That is all.
  6. So no one knows the story behind this? This guy was an animal in the pre season. I thought he was going to get the number two slot and now just inactive with no news.
  7. Why was Robert Meachum in-active for Sundays game against Tampa? Anyone have any news on this?
  8. That is not the feel good story that I wanted to hear. Your loss is my win and vice versa.
  9. So I set the all time scoring mark in my 10 year fantasy football league. I am playing the last team to get into the playoffs. Match ups are strong and I am feeling overly confident that I am going to mow through my opponent. Problem - yes. Terrell Owens puts up 5 Points, AP puts up 0 and I am now in a dog fight just to advance out of the first round. I am up 13 and he has David Patton going tonight. Roy Williams gets hurt for him and he has to take what is left of the slim waiver wire picks. If it weren't for Brandon Marshall having his best performance of the year I would have gotten beat down like a narc at a biker rally. So the question is, do you guys think I stand a chance? Some one tell me that David Patton has come down with the flu and will not suite up tonight. Anyone in NO know anything that will make my monday a little more palitable?
  10. I have been apart of a league where one guy drafted everyones back up running back just waiting for the number one to go down. His team sucked and he didn't care he just wanted to screw with people and take their back ups well before then should have been drafted. Trust that everyone he has contact with in a day thinks of him the same way you do, dick!
  11. Unfortunately in every league around the country there is the guy that over value's his players. Our league is no different. The guy in our league is the king of picking up a waiver wire guy that was hot for one week and then offering him to everyone in the league for a tier one or teir two guy. The move that kills me the most is the one GM that offers up his worst guy on his roster to everyone in the league for one other their starters, then three days later you see that same player on the waiver wire. I guess I don't blame some one for trying to get something for crap but 6 times a year is too much to offer up Joe Jerivicious for my top point getter.
  12. Steven Jackson was my first pick at the number two slot in the draft. I want out of his contract. What the hell happened to this guy? He has been sent to single handedly ruin my season. Nice work SJax, you da man!
  13. QUOTE(Imageek @ 9/10/07 10:01am) Let's be serious, if you don't think half the players in the NFL aren't on some sort of Human Growth Hormone you are off your rocker. Yeah Merriman got caught and served his suspension case closed. The man is an animal. Yeah, this makes it okay to promote him, and have him represent you. Great message to send to the kids out there. Way to go crappy shoes from spammers! -------------------- Please don't use Football players as role models. Use teachers or some one in the community or church members. It's ridiculous to think that a football player with questionable back rounds and rocky pasts should be looked up to in any way. Football is what it is, like it or not. Merriman paid for his indiscretions, he made a mistake, it's over. I think crappy shoes from spammers is trying to sell gear not make role models.
