  1. Agree about rooking RBs but wound up with Dalvin Cook this year.
  2. 14 team PPR league. We start 1 RB, 2 WR and 1 Flex (WR/RB). I had Bensen but he is hurt. My roster (RB/WR only) is: WR Wayne Cruz Hawkins Little RB Forte McGahee Bolden Ballard Would you start McGahee, Wayne, Cruz, Hawkins or swap Ballard in for Hawkins? I am ignoring my other positions in this post. They are set.
  3. I have Reggie Wayne and I would not take Spiller for him. If you can get him to go for it it would be worth it for you. Wayne is a stud. Do you have a flex spot in your lineup? He could start Wayne as a flex if he is a little light at RB and he would be better than Spiller.
  4. McGahee. I don't think he's a stud but he seems like a great value.
  5. We had 2 people who couldn't be at our draft but they drafted via Skype. I wonder if the OPs draft was similar.
  6. Benson-He's the man in Cincy. The team is bad but he will be the main focus of the offense and he will work hard in his contract year. Grant-Starks is overated. Grant is sold. Ingram-Great upside potential on a team that's already good. Moreno-Good solid player but will lose TDs to McGahee Thomas-The Dolphins are in disarray. No rookie can thrive under the conditions the Dolphins have right now.
  7. Rice. QBs in the first round are almost never worth it and certainly not if you have the #3 pick.
  8. In one league I'm pretty safe. I'm ahead by 60 points and my opponent has Rivers and Bowe tonight. In the other league I won. Beat the hubby. Ha ha.
  9. My father inflicted the curse of the J-E-T-S on me. I grew up during the time that only the local games were available on TV so I also grew up watching the Giants. I still follow both teams but I still bear the affliction of being a Jets fan.
  10. I guess it depends on why people play. I am in a league where most of the guys are probation officers. I got invited because I was looking for a league and my cousin brought me to the draft. 10 years later some of our kids are playing with us (teens). We play for pretty modest stakes and most of us play for fun. One of the new guys came to the draft, saw me and the two other women and commented about how he can't wait to beat all these girls......The league message board has been hopping with banter about how the new guy is going to deal with being beaten by not one but all three girls (all of us have won the league at some point). It's supposed to be fun. It's not fun if it's not flexible. We had the same Sidney Rice deal at our draft and we just told the guy and let him make another pick. We would let the guy get a kicker AND we would probably have a rule change.
  11. Forsett was named the starter by Pete Carroll.
