Guy is offering me Rhodes for Colsten...standard scoring performance league, 12 teams, heres my team QB/2RB/3WR/TE/FLEX/DEF/K Manning/Huard Portis/Gore/D. Williams Chambers/T. Owens/Cotchery/Ma. Jones/Colsten Crumpler/Wrightster Kasay Baltimore/Jax I need RB help but is this a bad deal? Thanks guys

Alright, well my apologies. I believe that if someone read that post they would be able to see through the semantics and get to what I was really asking, which was if anyone had heard any stories with regard to an injury more significant than what we have all heard through various news sources. Just trying to figure out whether the trade I made for him was a bust or not. Thank you to whoever posted the ESPN story.

Just a heads up, if you look at my original post, i said i had heard rumors of a worse injury and was looking ofr more substantiated claims, hence me posting the question. wouldnt post an injury. i just traded for the guy, want to make sure the rumors im hearing in my leagues chat room are either incorrect or unsubstantiated. take care.

I'm hearing that he will be starting Week 3. I'm also hearing his injury might be a lot worse than anyone is letting on. What's the deal there? Any insight?

Honestly I worry that Jamal Lewis is fantasy poison (had him last year) and I'm not sure about the condition of that hip. That being said, Moss could really suffer this year in OAK, so getting Wayne is solid with Driver (I think he'll score some points with Favre) and Norwood could end up being a valuable young rb. Do it.

I would stay away from Jones vs. Chicago, thats an easy one. I would probably stay away from Bell ONLY because no one really knows how much that finger will affect his already split duty with Tatum. So, that leaves you with the receivers. I would go Ward-a favorite target of roethlisberger even if he's rusty and Burress-put up solid numbers last wk and I would rather have Eli throwing to my starting receiver than any Bear qb.

Alright this is a good one I got myself into. 12 teams. hi performance scoring. 1 qb/2rb/3wr/te/def/k/flex (wr or rb). the flex position has really run the rb opportunities dry. heres my team p.manning/b.johnson chambers/owens/m.jones/j.cotchery/n.burleson/givens gore/m.bell/d.williams/davenport crumpler/colston baltimore kaeding the scoring in my league is 1pt/10 yds rush/recieve. now, in an effort to shore up my team, the other day i traded cadillac for t. owens straight up, figuring with the scoring in my league, owens would be more valuable than cadillac and that i could turn around and flip someone for a running back or find a waiver gem. been stumped on 5 trade proposals so far and the best i found on the waiver wire is najeh davenport. so my question is, am i screwed or can i wait this out for awhile or should i try and pull the trigger on a willis mcgahee for chambers deal-something ive been talking about with someone in my league-might be a possibility? right now im starting chambers/owens/m.jones and throwing cotchery in my flex. long post but a good one. am i screwed?

well i did it. caddy for owens straight up. freaking a little about running backs but i am working on trading for corey dillon and praying something happens to d. foster and williams can get some playing time. took a chance but i think its worth it. gulp
