  1. I"m actually hoping he has a bad game this week, so I can trade for him. Hopefully, Chambers will have a good game, and I can package him and a 2nd tier RB to the owner who's had Smith on his bench for the last 2 weeks.
  2. I was watching the Redskins/Broncos game, and saw that they were doing the individual introductions of the offensive players. My wife asked me if they still do that, because she's only been watching football for the last few years. I couldn't really remember and then last night, we watched the Rams/Patriots superbowl from 2002. The Rams got their offensive starters introduced individually, and then the Patriots chose to be introduced as a team. I thought that was pretty cool. Sumerall said, 'well, that was a unique introduction'. Did the patriots team introduction become the standard after that game?
  3. if I didn't watch last week's pats game, and seen caldwell get targeted 14 times, there's no way I'd be starting this clown this week. Can't believe I'm depending on this guy at my WR2 spot.
  4. well, i have colston too, but i dont' know if he's going to play and he's got a sunday nite start time, which makes things difficut. of course, if he doesn't play, you have bruce who doesnt' play until monday so you could slot him in as a just in case. rams are playing the bears which doesnt' help. therefore, it becomes R Moss vs Galloway vs Winslow. Moss is not playing well, I don't know who galloway is playing, therefore I'd probably go with Winslow.
  5. please help, huge game this weekend. i win this one, i get a bye. I'm a pats homer, so of course i'm leaning towards Caldwell, but i'm just not sure. Coles, home against Bills Caldwell, road against Dolphins Mason, road against Chiefs Moss, road against Bengals
  6. thing is, guy makes that much money off of his endorsements, and still went for the highest contract he could possibly get out of the colts. his salary is directly tied to the failure of that teams defense, since btwn him, harrison and wayne, they've got to be close to 40% of the team's cap. its times like this where i thank tom brady for taking less so that the pats would have more money to spend on the rest of their team (not like they did this year, but they had in the past).

Time to pay for the service. I was watching NFL replay last night, and saw a blurb that the NFL network has a contract to broadcast 8 games a year for the next 6 years (including this one). Personally, i love the NFL network and do watch it all year round. from the on demand highlights to the nfl replays to the nfl films stuff, the additional price is worth it to me.
  8. I need the Jags D to come up big. If they can do what they did the last time they played on a Monday night, and could get a shutout and a Def TD, that would help me out a ton. I need 25 pts out of them, which isn't out of the question.
  9. ppr league. Moss vs KC Mason vs Atl Coles vs Chi as much as i hate to say it, i actually have Moss in my lineup right now. Coles against Chi, that doesn't sound good to me, nor does D. Mason against Hall. what do you think?>
  10. Moss vs Den, Coles vs NE, Mason vs Tenn. PPR League. thx.
  11. so, the format is 2qb,2rb,3wr,te,k,dst. 12 teamer, only odd scoring is that there are no minus pts for qb turnovers. this fact really increases the value of qbs. Having never played in a league where you had to start 2 qbs, I wasn't really ready for the way the draft played out. It was probably the strangest draft I had ever been in, where teams were literally drafting 4 or 5 qbs. thing is, there's no open free agent pickups. rather there's a supplemental draft once every 3 weeks (after week3, 6, 9, 12). this forces you to plan around your bye weeks well in advance (for example, if one of your qbs is on bye in week 8, you need to make sure you pick up a guy to cover in the week 6 supp.) The real thing that has sparked trading is injuries. I had hasselbeck, roth, and kitna, and then hasselbeck goes down last week (of course so did Ben, but i'm hoping he'll play today). as kitna is on bye this week, i couldnt' dare take a 0 at my qb spot, so had to deal to make it happen. there have been 17 trades in this league so far this season, most around injuries, some around guys not thinking out the bye week schedule properly. People also deal their supplemental picks as part of trades as well. (swapping spots or just trading them outright) Due to the large amount of trades, i'm actually thinking of proposing something similiar for my other leagues next year as far as the supplemental drafting goes.
  12. they both have hamstring issues. mcnabb is much better than brunell, so i'll go out on a limb and say that stallworth will end up having the better second half. he should play at least 3 more games this season.
  13. scalping isn't legal, however, that's not to say that you can't do illegal things around foxboro stadium. I see people selling tickets there all the time. However, you might want to check out the craigslist in Boston, you might be able to hook up with tickets before getting to the traffic nightmare that is route 1.
  14. yeah, i can't ever envision a scenario where I wouldn't start LJ. Even if they went back in time, and played the 85 bears. This is called paralysis by over analysis.
  15. I'd start Shockey, i see no reason why the Bears will need to pass today.
