  1. I watched the news conference. What Biscotti said was "There is a HOF coach out there, it's my job to go find him". Doesn't sound like they have anyone lined up.
  2. Shula is too old. Wonder if Frank Kush is still out there?
  3. Congrats to them. The game today should be funny, our left overs versus your backups. Wish we could have made it more meaningful. What a dog turd of a season we've had.
  4. The last year in Baltimore, Jamal stated that he has several other successful business going with his early money and doesn't really need big $$$ from here out. It sounds like he just wants to keep playing and is willing to fit to what the team wanted. Good for him for having a good year.
  5. Our family's thoughts are with you. We've been dealing with respiratory issues with our youngest for 6+ years, so we know how much it sucks watching them go through it. I hope she feels better soon. How old is she?
  6. The difference now is that Boller knows that this is his LAST chance with the Ravens. Before this season, they extended him one year, so after next season, he is a UFA. There is ZERO chance that the Ravens do not draft/sign a 'QB of the future' type guy in the offseason. Either Boller finally gets it and starts playing like a starter, or he just keeps the spot warm and signs as a backup with a chance to start when he is done with the Ravens. As for Troy Smith, I think they should have cut him in camp. Drew Olson was the better #3 QB, but they didn't draft him and give him a bonus, so he was the one who got whacked. As good as the Ravens have been at drafting, QB evaluation has been a glaring weakness. Not only did we cut Derrick Anderson in favor of a 2nd kicker, the whole debate over which QB to draft a few years ago was between Boller and Leftwich. Ick.
  7. Wow, I really didn't think the Ravens had this one in them. Good show, too bad they couldn't finish. I do like Biliick after the game: -Press: Who called that timeout? -Billick: WE called timeout. If we wouldn't have called it and they got the first down, you'd be asking me why we DIDN'T call timeout. I really think he's sick of the press.
  8. I did a total kitchen remodel and went a bit over budget. As a result, my credit cards are all maxed out. Where is my handout. You fix this by taking their houses from them and selling them for what you can get. The borrowers learn by becoming renters, and the lenders learn by losing a good deal of their money. Those who waited without going over would be the ones who made out. I was offered an arm and I turned it down. Frack the other people who don't understand BASIC MATH.
  9. Never been, but I'd like to go on one in the next 5-10 years. In an unrelated note, I believe it is NCL that stated their next project is the restoration of the SS United States. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SS_United_States
  10. I'd love to see it, and I'm pulling for them, but I take the Pats and the 20 in this one. We have too many injuries plus an imp offense.
  11. I liked it, but what the frack was up with the "Now it's been revealed" crap? Is this some ghey reality show? This show is WAY too good to do stoopid crap like that. Next they'll have us texting what our vote for the plot outcome is. Great story, great TV. Just let the writers write and stay out of it.
  12. Us Favre/Jennings owners are twice as happy.
  13. There's bass and there's terrible, and that's terrible.
