  1. You say that you put up a poll or something on the website a few weeks before your draft, but that not everyone voted. I would see if you emailed the poll out to everyone. If you did and the owner disregarded it then he is partially to blame for not asking "what happened with the whole mandatory TE vote?". That in conjunction with the number of TEs that were drafted should have clued in this guy that you had passed the new rule. You would think he would have seen the poll when he logged on to do the draft and would have asked. I would let him drop/add for no fee. If he was never emailed the poll and for some reason (travels all the time, or doesn't have regular access to a computer) didn't ever know that your league was considering adding a mandatory TE, then it is your fault at Commissioner for making the new rule without including everyone. Give him your TE and you pick someone off waivers, or make a trade. in a 14 team league there are going to be some teams with crappy TEs anyway. This guy should be able to pick someone up with some upside off the waiver that is comparable.
  2. Should have done your research. Before the season started I saw him on PTI and he said not to draft him in Fantasy becuse they were planning on giving Jacobs the ball at the goal line this season.
  3. I think he got hit in the eye with a football
  4. Housh did an interview with Jim Rome and was asked if Chad was getting upset by the lack of balls being thrown his way. According to Housh, Chad's much more worried about winning this year than individual stats. Supposedly, Chad feels that he has accomplished enough individual goals, and wants to do whatever it takes to win. Basically, Chad is fine forcing double coverage and letting the other WRs get the balls while in single coverage. I think Chad will have a few big games this season, but not like past years.
  5. you're 3 weeks into the season...period. If LT blows out his knee everything changes.
  6. ...also D. Darius made snot bubbles come out his nose.
  7. Thanks for the advice. I ended up with Engram. The guy ahead of me took Evans instead of who I thought he was going to take. We'll see how it goes. Good luck to everyone this weekend.
  8. I keep reading about Corey Dillon being injured but still practicing this week. I started to get nervous that he may have reinjured his calf and that he might be a no show this weekend. My question...is all this talk just because he is listed as questionable (like the rest of the frickin team) or was there a report that he aggravated his calf. If it is as I suspect the only news is that he is listed as Questionable just like he was last week and so are all the other RBs. any insight?
  9. I will probably have a shot at either one on the waiver. I typically prefer someone who consistantly puts up 8-10/game (Engram) vs. someone who can put up 25 or 3 (Evans). Thoughts? Now that Losman is back Evans seems to be the go to guy, but Moulds may not play. And then it looks like DJax might be back. Its the first round of the playoffs and its a must win. Whichever one I pick will probably have to play.
  10. Or check and see if Marvin Harrison is available.
  11. My two cents. I was commissioner of my league last year and I think you have to let fair trades occur even if you don't like them. The fact that you let it go to a vote isn't really fair for Dazzlemaster. Of course everyone is going to vote against him as the high point scorer of your league. The trade is fair, if Dazzlemaster was a mid to bottom ranked team in your league you would let the trade go through. You shouldn't penalize him because he had a good draft and has been successful. The commissioner needs to treat everyone evenly.
  12. I think its a decent pick. It is so boring when everyone picks the Pats colts or Eagles. The Panthers ended up fielding a decent team near the end of the year despite their injuries. At a minimum bringing back Smith, Davis, Foster and Jenkins should greatly improve the team. I think they play solid defense and make few mistakes on offense and go far in the playoffs. However I hope I am wrong....Go Bucs!
