  1. Landed in Miami about an hour ago.Of course he owns a home down there so don't know if that means anything.
  2. I am in 10.Being in so many has actually brought the enjoyment of just watching the games back instead of worrying about individual stats.I just watch the games I want to see and check the scores of my teams sunday evening after the games are over.Really no reason to keep up with stats because you certainly will be playing against players you have on other teams.
  3. Thats my guess seeing as how I drafted him.Thats the kiss of death for any player
  4. Thomas has over a 5yrd per carry over past two seasons.Rushed for almost 1600 yards on 298 carrys and scored 19 times. No slouch at catching the ball out of the backfield either.Of course he didn't play the same caliber teams he would of had to if he played in the SEC but overall I think that was a great pick for the Fins.I think its going to be a great situation for Thomas and anyone who grabs him in their rookie drafts.
  5. Sorry Taz you already named two of those guys. But I think everyone gets the point you can win championships and at least smell the playoffs without an elite QB.
  6. Here are a few more Super Bowl winners that were not elite. 1 Bob Greise( my all time favorite but definatly not elite) 2 Jim Plunkett 3 Joe Theismann 4 Phil Simms 5 Jeff Hostetler 6 Mark Rypien All good QBs but not elite. So I guess that elite theory is kind of bogus
  7. I just have to shake my head and smile at all these so called experts opinons .Have any of these QBs in this years draft proven that they can compete in the NFL?Newton and Special K how are they that much different than Tebow. It just amazes me at the Tebow hate out there. The Broncos have a lot more pressing needs than QB right now they would have to be insane to grab a QB in any of the early rounds.
  8. I was in the infantry at 22 3rd ID thats one of the memorys I'm glad I have.
  9. Guess its your perspective on things at age 56 I think of 22 year olds as kids.Nothing wrong with being a kid at 22 your just starting out.I think missing out on draft day for these kids is an injustice its going to deprive them of a great memory.I do agree with you on the pampered part they have been most of their lives and its a shame because they don't have a clue about real life.Just as most of the veterans in all of the major sports don't thats why I hope this backfires on them.
  10. Just a damn shame its come to this.Obivously everyone involved in this fiasco does not have a clue what its like in the real world.Players who have been pampered since high school and think they are owed somthing just because they are athetically blessed.Owners who are so rich they can't comprehend what its like to live week to week and to srimp and save just to go to a couple of games a year. Both sides have lost touch with reality and are going to alienate the very people who have made it possible for them to make the money that they are fighting over
  11. All I can say is the players and the owners are going to kill the goose that laid the golden egg.I for one will never watch another NFL game if we lose this season due to a labor squable. When MLB went on strike and lost the World Series i decided then that I would never follow it again.I don't even glance at the standings in the newspaper to this day.All I can say is thank god for college football and the SEC.
