I'm #2 in the league in points for, and me and the #3 guy are both in a situation where we could be out if we lose this week. H2H just doesn't make any sense where the #2 and #3 teams in points for may not be in the playoffs. Then its just about luck of the draw and not skill in drafting a team and setting lineups. You can't do much better than #2 in scoring, so if this is supposed to be based on skill, how could 2 of the top 3 teams in scoring not make the playoffs?

Didn't see the play. Was DHB lying on the ground and the ball just kind of fell and stuck to him? Did Gradkowski walk over and hand him the ball for the TD? I don't see any way he could have actually caught a pass. My world is turning upside-down!

Russell is the biggest bust ever. Ryan Leaf is a HOF candidate by comparison. Add in the fact that DHB and McFadden are looking like busts too, and its got to be hard to be an Oakland fan. At least most fans can look forward to a high draft spot if their teams sucks. Oakland fans just have to look forward to another blown first round pick. Or did they already trade that away?

Is Austin the only receiver on the field? Not watching the game. Who's covering him?

He'd be out in a year. How's he going to run that offence in Chicago in December? It won't matter, because the Bears will be out of the playoffs by then anyway, but the question still has to be asked. As for Cutler being a HOF QB, wow. If that's the case, sign up Vince Young too. Another guy with physical tools who can't read a defence.

Trying to decide if I should start him over Garcon (vs. Hou) this weekend. Chambers should be motivated and the Chiefs should be playing from behind all game, but I'm not sure.

Picked up Sorgi for that very reason. He's no Manning, but he just might be my starter if I make it to week 16.

Its a shame that the idiot coaches in Carolina didn't stick to the running game. DWill was tearing up a very good Miami run D, so the coaches decide to let Delhomme hoist it 40+ times (completing less than 50%). Its mind-boggling, but they should be fired at the end of the season. They've got 2 great RBs and a terrible QB. Common sense says, stick to the run game.

I don't see anything wrong with it. There's no need to disclose other deals you may be working on. There's nothing here to feel guilty about.

I'd prefer Slaton. Westbrook hasn't done anything this season even when he's played. He's 30 and the injuries look like they've caught up with him. They've got plenty of weapons, and a decent back in McCoy. I think Westy's workload in the regular season is limited to keep him healthy for the playoffs. He's just not a difference maker any more. Slaton's had a terrible season, but he didn't lose all that talent from last season. Moats is junk who shined against a terrible run D that's been lit up by everyone. This may be a wake-up call for Slaton. If he can get back to how he played last year, he has RB1 potential. Westy can't turn back the clock 7 years. I'd rather have Slaton going forward.

It was touched on in the Chambers thread, but not really discussed. He's the #2 WR on a pretty good passing team, but they've got a ton of other options. He's actually put up decent yardage the last few weeks on not allot of catches. Does he make a decent WR3 down the road? Since my other WR3 choices are Moore, Garcon, and Bennett, he's starting to look worth a pickup.

The guy really seems to be living in a dream world. I wonder if he's trying to be funny with reporters, or if in his distorted reality a 20% completion rate with 4 turnovers is a good game from him? If he's joking, he may be the best comedian on the planet. He should maybe look into that instead of QBing.
