  1. That rap was comically caucasian, but had it dead to rights. Good stuff. i do have a question. If nothing happens this year, then what happens this off season? Are VJax's rights still property of the SDC? Is the hope that someone is more willing to pay the asking price in the off-season? Or will VJax be bussing tables at my local Denny's soon?
  2. What a moron VJax himself is. Play the game. Honor your contract. You're on a potential championship team making insane money to play a game. With that said, I do think AJ is hurting his own team right now. He's letting personal emotion and rage dominate here . . . and I honestly wish more owners would punish petulant players like this. Now as a point of personal disclosure, I own VJax in one league and am trying to get him in another. Both are keeper/dynasty leagues. If VJax actually lands somewhere this year, he's still got to learn a playbook, find chemistry and his place on a team, etc. I think that makes it tough for him to put up anything VJax like. I'm not convinced the Vikings this year would have catapulted VJax to numbers we're accustomed to seeing. I think Favre is done. If you're in a redraft league, see if you can unload him to someone still dreaming about possibilities. Fact is, there are two morons locked in a battle of wills. That's a fight I (as a redraft FF owner) would prefer to sit out.
  3. Stewart has great keeper value. Fox is gone at the end of the year, and there's a fair possibility DWill signs somewhere else, too. I'm not saying to pack the year in, but with Grant out . . . I wouldn't mortgage your future given your position this year is already shaky. Stewart will get his carries. DWill has a tendency to break himself, which leaves you with a monster even this year. Clausen's going to need the running game to take some pressure off, so I think there will be carries for both cats to help you subsist.
  4. Thanks, L Burna. I'm starting Naane. We'll see what happens.
  5. I guess I'll take the no response as: a. A suggestion that it's a coin toss and the two are equivalent. b. Nobody cares much about determining who is the better stretch at WR3 Gaffney or Naane. 1/2 PPR league, if anyone wants to step up to the plate.
  6. OK, who puts up better numbers this week? Legedu Naane at home vs. Jags Jabbar Gaffney at home vs. Seahawks It's a battle of the crazy named mediocre WR3s. What would you do? Thanks in advance for chiming in with your advice and explanations of why.
  7. Breaston then Mike Williams for my money. IMO Clayton has seen his best game of the year.
  8. Drop D Thomas for B Jackson. Jackson is the obvious pick up.
  9. My God I wish the owners in my leagues were as quick to write off Kolb as some of you guys are. 30 minutes. His first opener and the kid didn't have time to shake his jitters and settle in. With that said, you better be as quick as Vick if you want to stay alive behind that crappy o-line. I think we see enough of Vick that he wins himself a starting QB job somewhere (probably not Philly) next year.
  10. Can't wait to cut Anthony Gonzalez, but due to league rules I'm stuck with him until the end of the year. I inherited him when I took over a diaper dirtty dynasty team and his contract is guaranteed through this year.

    Flacco

Flacco's a stud. He can impregnate my daughter. I do not have a daughter. He can impregnate my dog.
  12. There's a very good chance it could either: a. Have no effect on his value . . . if you believe that Maroney really just cannibalizes Buckhalter's touches. b. Have a positive effect . . If you Moreno is battling through a hammy injury and having a talented (but limited) complement like Maroney could help him heal up and potentially keep him fresher throughout the season. If I were a Moreno owner, this move would not terrify me. In fact, if you can find a jumpy Moreno owner whose rattled by this news, it could even be a good time to buy low. It's all about pouncing on uncertainty and buying low, right?
  13. Change WR3 lineup spot to Flex (RB/WR/TE). Our league is a 14-team league and pickins for WR3 can get especially slim when bye weeks, injuries, etc. are factored in.
  14. Special treatment is never fair. All should have equal treatment and not losing Waiver ranking is ridiculous. Just curious though . . . why does your league not start waiver wire up between draft week and start of games? Why wait until after Week 1?
  15. I hoped (still do) he'll get to a RB3 value at some point, but these injuries are red flags for sure.
