  1. I agree with starting Grant every week. He can flat out run when he is healthy...and he is healthy starting this year and worked hard this offseason. Julius could have a great game....but than again, he didn't have any last year.
  2. You need RB help for sure, but wait a few weeks and find out how your QBs really perform when the season gets going. Somebody in your league with a deep group of RBs will be begging you for one of your QBs 3 or 4 weeks in. You never know. By that time Leon Washington may be the man, or it could be someone else. If you can be a little patient you will get a better deal. (Julius Jones has a good enough match-up to get you throught this week and your WRs and QBs are solid. That should buy you a few weeks.)
  3. I think that Phillys offensive line is better than Seattles even missing the two O lineman....and McNabb is lot more mobile than Hasselbeck so he can deal with O line troubles better. I would count on Phillys defense to give McNabb better field position too. I could get proven wrong, but I have to stick with McNabb to start the season. ( And I just don't think the Panthers D is what it used to be.)
  4. I have the same two QBs and I am sticking with McNabb. The Panthers defense did not look good to me in the preseason and Hasselback has to prove to me he is truly back before I start using him. His offensive line is a question mark from what I read as well.
  5. I can't argue with you on the Jamal Lewis response. Nothing concrete out there about J.Lewis ( that could be because of the coaching staff in Cleveland ), just reports being written based on the weak performance of Lewis and strong performance of Davis in the preseason. Nothing any of us can take to the bank though. That would be the reason for my post..........wondering if anyone had any better information. How about the WRs? Any thoughts?
  6. Thanks in advance for any advice on the following. One of my teams has a WR group that makes me nervous. May perform but than again maybe not. My 4 WRs are; Chris Henry Desean Jackson Santonio Holmes Earl Bennett 6 pts per TD / 1 point for every 25yds receiving. These following players are on my Waiver Wire; Bryant Johnson ( #2 in Detroit / Opposite Calvin / Detroit will be passing a lot I am guessing. Downside...that team just is not very good, and Johnson has had 7 years to prove himself and hasn't.) Troy Williamson. ( Looks promising in Jacksonville, but did not show anything special in Minnesota.) Deoin Branch (Injury worry every year.) Would you take any of these waiver wire guys over my current roster players?
  7. I took a late round flyer on Donald Brown as the current back-up RB in Indy. He is sitting on my roster and James Davis in Cleveland is sitting on my waiver wire. All the reading I am doing says Jamal Lewis is about done and Davis looks very good. Would you drop Brown for Davis? RB scoring is 1 point per 10 yds rushing / 1 point per 25yds rec. / 6 pts per TD. There are no PPR in this league. Any thoughts on this out there?
  8. If these guys were available on your waiver wire, and you were concerned about the depth your fantasy team had at RB, would you pick one of them up? I do not have Brandon Jacobs on my team.
  9. Any RB needs a good offensive line to produce. Jackson can't do it by himself. I wouldn't count on good numbers from him. Johnson has a tough schedule during Fantasy play-off weeks...TB, Denver, and Indy.
  10. Tough call. Both are great match-ups for the receivers. I might end up leaning towards Holmes because Cleveland has allowed 20 passing TD's and Minnesota has allowed 10 passing TD's. Minnesota stepped up against San Diego too.
  11. LJ will have slim to no use the remainder of the season. You need a QB that can produce. Hasselbeck is definitely a QB that will produce. He has no running game so there will be a lot of passing down the stretck. Hackett is back and Branch isn't far off. Grab him.
  12. Make the trade. It doesn't matter if Jackson gets healthy. He has no offensive line to make the holes for him. Derek Anderson is one of the top 4 Fantasy QB's in the league right now and has a great schedule in the fantasy play-off weeks.
  13. Sorry man. I should read closer before I reply. Your not giving up Palmer
  14. I'm not so sure you want to trade Palmer when he plays the Rams, the 49ers, and the Browns in week 14, 15 and 16. Play-off weeks, and some weak looking pass defenses.
  15. Hackett. Picked him up myself. Crayton is too inconsistent. Dallas has too many other options for Crayton to produce weekly. It's like rolling the dice with him. Seattle needs to pass a lot with their weak running game so Hackett should produce down the stretch. I was a little worried about his week 15 game against the Ravens, but after Monday night........not so worried.
