  1. Great, thanks for the advice. It's what I was leaning toward, but with so much talk of rebuilding on forums and such I was confused. I'm surprised there are so many dynasty leagues out there!
  2. I'm looking for a manual/ advice/ explanation of the contend vs. rebuild mode that I hear thrown around forums and websites. There is never any more in depth discussion beyond, "I'm in a rebuild year." What defines a rebuild year? What should an owner do in a rebuild year? What's the difference in a league with 2 keepers vs 5 keepers? Does the 2 keeper league even need to worry about rebuild mode? I realize that the basics are that in Rebuild mode I should be looking for younger high upside players for good value, but isn't that what we're looking for anyway regardless of "mode" we're in? Thanks in advance for any website links or long treatise answers on the subject!
  3. I haven't been able to find much info out there on Huddle or elsewhere on which Jax backup has the inside Track for us MJD owners. I drafted him about 30 minutes before his injury! I have them ranked like this Jennings ( He's been injured, but more upside) Jones (has played int he past) Washington Vaugaun Any experts out there want to weigh in?
  4. Anybody found or seen one of these? It's like hunting for Bigfoot ! Loads of Auction League Values and PPR Rankings, but nothing to combine the two. Has our league gone off into crazyland to do a PPR Auction League? Did we miss something or is a PPR auction Value list just something that has fallen through the cracks. Thanks for any help/ suggestions.
  5. I've got Holt Branch Furrey Chris Henry Lee Evans ranked in that order . Must start 3 in a PPR league. Still Go with Holt or do I drop him for Chris Henry? just can't trust Lee Evans with Trent Edwards even though it is Miami. I've got the #1 seed and hear an upset brewing. Also have Big Ben ( starting) Garrard Addai (starting) MJD (starting) Kevin Jones Chris Brown Cooley already played and lost the TD pass to Johny Nobody
  6. I've been all over the place with these three and now really need big games from WR after Addai's average scoring last night (my opponent got to ride Peyton's points, why the heck did the colt's decide to run only when the game was won ?!?!) Right now I've got Branch on the bench, but now there is talk that Hackett is nursing an injury. It's crazy, but I'm thinking of benching Holt now. Any thoughts?
  7. The are so many mixed messages RE: Thomas Jones. ( will he be game ready, how many carries will Washington steal, etc.) Am I better off going with Cadillacs vs Seattle? Norwood vs. Minn sounds brutal too, so that's not really an option.
  8. I also have the same type of scoring league (and the #4 pick and no amount of mock drafting seems to help figure out which way to go. They all have their downsides: Westy - injuries, two good back ups to steal Goal line carries Addai- lots of other weapons on the team, never carried a full workload ( even in college), two knee operations Bush- covered by others above, but split carries and defensive schemes against him. SA- bad PPR, I have him at 11 or even lower Gore- Workload again, injury prone?, and unfortunately for me I am a huge Niner hater and couldn't handle him on the team. Gore would be the one if I was totally unbiased though. LJ - besides the holdout, he has no O Line or Offensive help whatsoever, and sooo many carries under his belt. I think he is a bust waiting to happen ( though I pretty cetain that the guy Picking #3 in my League is taking Bush, so LJ is tempting at #4). My answer is to try to swap 1st and 2nd round picks with #10, in the process I get his 4th and give up my 6th. That way I can le tthe chips fll at #10 and then have the choice of Stud WR at 2.03 or maybe Henry or Johnson falls to me there.
  9. jmkramer commish 12 team PPR, 40/ 10/ 10...idp http://www.fantasyauctioneer.com/proxy?:in...rt&column=6 come sign up! it's free and I want to fill out the field with humans
  10. Anybody have strategy guides for specific draft spots (Turn spots 1, 2 11, 12) etc. I am drafting 4th in a 12 team PPR league and am having a Mare with trying to project what to do.
  11. cheers, perfect response for me to throw into the fray!
  12. There is a battle in my league with Bench Spots...There is a faction that thinks fewer bench spots will encourage trades... Right now we stand 12 teams 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, TE, PK, 3 IDP and 4 bench spots, that's 11 starters! Standard leagues seem to be about 9 starters and 6 or 7 bench spots. Any solid factual help I can throw out there to knock some reason into some people. I think 4 Bench spots will just make you trade with the Waiver wire, and hurt the unlucky injured.
  13. Thanks, I'll check it. It's tough to find a good generator for our league as we do bonus for 100 yard rushing games and 300 yard passing etc. and are looking at doing completion points too. All the sites can help with one or two, but never all of the Points system parts.
  14. Hey Nuke, I've got the same pick in the same type of league (PPR .5 per catch). I'm having similar issues trying to figure what to do. I've looked into trading up to get SJ or down to get some picks, but draft pick trading is dicey at best I find. from what I've gathered from Expert drafts and what not, I would say No Go on Shaun Alexander. Westbrook is a more than a little scary now that he is finally being given 1st round props. It seems Gore, Addai, Westy, and Bush are the options. Personally, I'd rather be watching Bush kill it for my team than to me by the guy who gets him with the 11th pick. The toughest thing is knowing that the next pick is gonna come at 21, so it feels like 4th pick better be REAL good. BTW, Have you found a good Custom Cheatsheet generator for PPR leagues?
