To indulge y'all a bit further, I have a much larger interest in rooting for the players on my dynasty team than I do rooting for one particular NFL team. Perhaps due to the fact I have a number of key Texans players, I tend to root for them more.

This represents me. I'm not proud of it. Fantasy Football has ruined my ability to root for a team with any sort of fervency. If you were to ask me which team I have rooted for with the most consistency for the last few years, it's been the Texans. But I would still consider myself associated with the Cowboys due to my location, the media I choose to follow, and having a general interest in being an arm-chair QB of theirs when it comes to fulfilling my desires of being a critic.

I took Gore at 4 in a local league, passing over Ray Rice. My motives were a tad different, since my dynasty team has RR and I had already drafted another team with him as my RB1. I've never had Gore before, in my FF career, and just felt that a.) I didn't want to latch all my teams to one guy, and b.) I also like owning a player, if possible, at least once. I love RR so it really was a tough decision, but it's one I was comfortable making (especially considering how the rest of my draft turned out).

man, I loath TD-only leagues. I was very lucky to be able to win the bid on Foster in one of my local auction redrafts this year. PPR league, so I went heavy WRs to go along with Ray Rice. Wasn't really thrilled with my RBs behind Rice, but was also pretty sure I was the only one with keen knowledge of Foster considering Tate went for $13, Slaton $11, Foster $1...

I'll be attending a BP in New Orleans over the weekend, and have been using this topic as a pretty good guide on what to eat and see while there. I think Friday night we'll be getting bloody mary's at Igors, eating dinner at Pat O's (hurricanes too), taking in the sights at Rick's, maybe playing some cards at Harrah's. Saturday brunch at Cafe Du Monde, lunch at Port of Call (with a monsoon). We'll be leaving in the evening, but not sure how late. My reason for bumping this topic is to ask if there might be something more worth doing than what we have tentatively planned? Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
