  1. I think 5th round WAY too early. There is too much talent generally on the board to take a TE who has tons of promise, but not had a full season of good production yet.
  2. I'd prob go with McCoy and Slaton. Julius Jones is supposed to come back and start. IF he doesn't then go with Forsett. Please comment on my deal if you wouldn't mind. http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=309318
  3. What do you think about my trade offer? http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=309318
  4. no reason at all to make that deal. portis is just about done. brown is still banged up himself. Addai is healthy. Don't do it
  5. I could use your help guys! Thanks!!! My team: QB: P. Manning RB: MJD, McCoy WR: G. Jennings, S. Holmes, S. Breaston TE: Gates Deangelo playoff schedule: 14: @NE (HORRIBLE!!!) 15: MIN at home (not so bad) 16: @NYG (bad but not terrible) MJD playoff schedule: 14: MIA (easy) 15: @IND (they have a solid run D and can easily run up the score on the crappy Jags D) 16: @NE (worst matchup of any RB. Pats are gonna destroy the Jags)
  6. I'd do it in a heartbeat! and you get Dallas Clark! No brainer with that schedule
  7. Real tough call bro. I live by the philosophy of NEVER benching your studs, especially Randy Moss. However, Sydney Rice has become a stud as well. Albeit not of the same caliber as Moss. And Reivis did shut him down earlier this year. Moss also got shutdown by Denver as well. One positive for Moss is they play in New England. Sydney Rice plays at home which is a huge plus against a crappy defense. I say roll the dice and go with Rice. I think its the right call here.
  8. I still can't make up my mind on this one. Anybody else want to chime in please!?
  9. NEVER BENCH YOUR STUDS. That being said...you play Gore and don't think twice. And even if Jacobs plays better, you still made the right call. Gore is hands down better. As for QB's...thats a tossup. OAK is garbage all the way around and they are starting a new qb who can't be any worse than Russell. So Cinci D will likely have a ton of takeaways, giving Palmer more opportunities. I like Palmer.
  10. Yeah you should have started Rice against the Lions! Oh well. I think you go with both RB's this week.
  11. I would go with Mendenhall b/c you know he is the guy in Pitt. You never what Cards will do. They are not a running team and Tim Hightower as bad as he sucks...is still the starter. Plus Hightower has been kept in all season at the goalline for those 1 yd td's. Wells may get his chance to down in the red zone more often....but for now...I'd go with Mendenhall.
  12. SHOULD I TRADE: JENNINGS AND GATES FOR SIMS-WALKER AND WHITTEN? My team: QB: P. Manning RB: MJD and McCoy WR: Jennings, Breaston, S. Holmes TE: Gates DST: Ravens I drafted Jennings and Gates b/c they have been studs every year. This year, they both are getting the yards, just not scoring. Rogers spreads the ball around so much and P. Rivers just loves V. Jackson. I was offered Sims-Walker and Whitten straight up. Whitten blows ass with his 4 pts per week, compared to Gates' whopping 7 pts per week. But Whitten is still getting the targets and catches. And Sims Walker I think is a stud. Would be a top ten 10WR if he actually played in week 1 and the other week he was suspended. Thoughts?
  13. I hate that fat pile of poopy!!! He was a disgusting, racist pig on ESPN and he needs to go pop some pain pills and join the rest of his psychotic, idealogical right wing nut jobs and stay away from football!
  14. I would not make that move. Forte will not come close to his numbers from last year but is still young, healthy and will put up decent numbers. White is a stud and should be solid. I think he has more upside than Holmes, but not much.
