  1. I also have Fargas but I'm still not sure yet how its going to play out. I think I'm going to wait until game-time and check Jordan's status, if he's out I think Fargas is a great option. I really doubt that Rhodes will get that many looks being that he's only practiced with the team for a couple weeks and he hasn't seen a game yet. I've read that they're working him in slow and don't want to overwhelm him with too much at once. If Fargas has a huge game and Jordan remains hurt for some time he may be the feature back for a few games.
  2. Any opinions here? I am leaning towards Morency and R. White. Morency because its PPR, he scored over 16 points last week and with Was. tough pass defense, I figure Favre having to check down to Morency a lot. White because I think Atl will have to throw a lot and will struggle with the run, they're missing two tackles which will also make the passing tough but I figure White still possesses the best chance for a breakout game. Also Dunn is on the bottom right now for me since Atl's o-line is hurting so bad.
  3. I need help with 2 flex positions we start 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 2FLEX, 1TE, 1K, 1DEF and its a 1 pt PPR league, 1 pt per 10 yds, 6 pts per TD. My choices are D. Ward, Morency, Fargas, Dunn, R. White, D. Bennett and I need to pick two. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. I'll answer yours just leave a link. Thanks.
  4. Kitna is on a bye week and I've having trouble with this one, McNair vs. StL or Pennington vs. Philly? Any help would be appreciated, I'll answer yours.
  5. I know a lot of guys have a QB on bye this week (Kitna, Manning, Roethlisberger, Cutler) so I figured a thread talking about which QB's on the waiver wire were going to perform best in week 6 would be very helpful. I only have 23 WW dollars left out of 2000 so I'll probably only get my 3rd to 5th choice, so thats why ranking these guys in order would be very helpful. I've added a poll so you can pick your top 3 QB's, I've also included the team they're playing in week 6 along with that teams passing defense rank so far this year which is based on yardage given up in the air. Here is the list of FA's in my league, feel free to add someone you'd like to talk about: My order: Kurt Warner vs. Car. Brian Griese vs. Min. Steve McNair vs. Stl. Brodie Croyle vs. Cin. (starter this week?) Gus Frerotte vs. Bal. (starter this week?) Cleo Lemon vs. Cle. David Carr vs. Ari. Tavaris Jackson vs. Chi. Most of these guys are playing weak passing defenses in week 6 so their value is up more than normal and I'm sure a lot guys will be gunning for some of these guys including myself as I have Kitna and my backups are/were Pennington and Trent Green, who I was banking on tearing up the worst pass def. in the league with Cleveland, but of course another injury on my team this year, just one week before I needed him. If everyone could share some inside info on any of these QB's, whether they're starting this week or their roles going forward the rest of the season and their predictions as to who will play best in week 6. I'm sure a lot of people will be looking to pick up a QB this week so lets try to make this thread as detailed and helpful as possible.
  6. Hey guys I just read this article about Ward, Meanwhile, the Giants listed running backs Brandon Jacobs (knee) and Derrick Ward (ankle) as probable for Sunday's game. Ward has been limited in practice all week and New York Daily News beat writer Ralph Vacchiano speculated this morning that we'll see mostly Jacobs and maybe 5-10 carries from Ward this week. Right now the votes are 10-2 in favor of Ward, does this change any of your minds. I was leaning towards Ward because I figured he'd have at least 14-15 carries but now I'm not so sure. I can't afford to have him only get 5 touches for 20 yds. Did anyone else find any info from Coughlin as to how many carries Ward will be getting? I really need some help here guys, I'll answer your questions too.
  7. Would anyone start Dunn if the matchups were switched, ie. Ward against Tenn. and Dunn against the Jets or do you think Ward is the better play regardless of the matchup?
  8. This is absurd that you're even questioning this trade, I don't know about your league but Romo is outperforming Brady in my league scoring. Plus Gates is way better than King and Alexander is way better than Ward. No-Brainer! I also would love to play in a league where someone offers me up this trade, you better hurry before this other idiot stops smoking angel dust and figures out what a dumba$$ he is.
  9. Do It! Sjax is done for and Andre will not play like he did the first few games. Moss could finish as the number one receiver this year, at least top 3 and he will probably beat out all RB studs, especially in PPR. He hasn't let up for 4 games, I think thats a clue. PS I hated him just as much as everyone else but he's surrounded by the best players in football, on the best team, has the best QB, and he's the best WR on the team and probably...the league.
  10. Oh let me tell you Crack is the hard stuff, I dropped out of college to begin my new career of 'smokin the crack', now I live under a bridge and I rob innocent old ladies to get money for my Crack. All I own is my laptop with my little wifi internet card so I can keep up on my fantasy football. Crack leads to making decisions like starting Lendale White over Frank Gore...Don't be a crackhead, always start your studs!
