  1. Looking for an opinion on who you will think will be the best RB this season (non-PPR) and why? Jahvid Best Justin Forsett Michael Bush Arian Foster
  2. What is the format of the draft, is it a snake draft where you pick at 10 & 15 or is it standard where you pick at 10 & 20?
  3. It's a dynasty league and I have to keep at least 2. I am currently drafting 1st in round one with no round 2 pick.
  4. I can keep 2 of the following players...the RBS I have ranked in the same tier and well OchoCinco is Ocho Cinco. Looking for some informed opinions, thanks. Reggie Bush Jonathan Stewart Larry Johnson Chad Ochocinco
  5. The sad thing is, Rivers was talking smack after a game he finished on the bench. Sure he was hurt, but if you can walk and it's the Playoffs shouldn't you be in there?
  6. Who should I start? I go back and forth on each.
  7. Who should I start this weekend? Taylor has bene getting the workload it seems as of late and I need all the points I can get!
  8. Not sure if he will pay off this week as I expect the PATS will actually have to run the ball if there is snow on the ground. Although, I'd play him over Stallworth as this seems to be more of a possession receiver game than one for deep threats.
  9. with the exception of the SONY commercials, I love all of Manning's commercials. They crack me up.
  10. from Mike Reiss' blog on boston.com, the rules on taping: Text size – + Videotaping rules Link|Comments (1) By Mike Reiss, Globe Staff December 12, 2007 02:16 PM Here are some of the league's rules regarding videotaping procedures: In the NFL's operations manual, it states that "no video recording devices of any kind are permitted to be in use in the coaches' booth, on the field, or in the locker room during the game." Furthermore, all video shooting locations for coaching purposes "must be enclosed on all sides with a roof overhead." In a memo to NFL head coaches and general managers on Sept. 6, 2006, NFL executive vice president of football operations Ray Anderson wrote: "Videotaping of any type, including but not limited to taping of an opponent's offensive or defensive signals, is prohibited on the sidelines, in the coaches' booth, in the locker room, or at any other locations accessible to club staff members during the game." In the league's Constitution & Bylaws, it reads: "Any use by any club at any time, from the start to the finish of any game in which such club is a participant, of any communications or information-gathering equipment, other than Polaroid-type cameras or field telephones, shall be prohibited, including without limitation videotape machines, telephone tapping, or bugging devices, or any other form of electronic devices that might aid a team during the playing of a game."
  11. Since the tape wasn't confiscated obviously there will be no reprecussions. I think this article, however dubious the timing, shows that maybe it isn't just the Patriots filming in the wrong spot. Many posters (not necessarily in this thread) have argued that the Patriots were the only ones to do this and get caught. Now for some PATS homer opinions: Do you think that the reason that Belichick and the PATS don't talk about the alleged Jets spying because they know it's part of the game and the respect the league code of silence about such things? I doubt Mangini would go to college to coach, if you can win in the NFL there will always be aplace for you, unless your name is Eric Mangini and it's in New England. I doubt the PATS will stomp them this weekend with the Nor'easter coming. I think the JETS have a tougher RB than the PATS. If I were a Maroney owner I wouldn't start him if I were you, Heath Evans on the other hand.......
  12. I wonder if it also is due to how big the "U" fraternity is around the league. Not to take away anything from Hill or anyone else, but it seems like every team has a few Canes on it and they all work out together in the offseason if I recall correctly.
  13. Could it be not the teams, but the coaching that is worse? Mangini going for the field goal last week The uneven play of the Chargers and Saints Miami falling of the face of the earth, weren't they a trendy Super Bowl pick? St Louis and San Fran not meeting expectations. It seems like the Saints, 49ers, Chargers and Rams are very similar teams to last year and in some cases better, yet they are way worse.
  14. Agreed, it's very weird this came up now. Here is the article the ESPN story references: http://www.newsday.com/sports/football/jet...0,3978329.story
  15. I find this to be interesting, only because it is the JETS. From ESPN: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3151217
