  1. I "bought low" on him in week 3 and it's been a nightmare. If he doesn't do it against the 31st ranked rushing defense, he's on the bench until he proves otherwise.
  2. 1yd = .1 pt; 2 bonus for +100, additional 1 bonus for 150+ TD =6 Non-PPR No bonus for long plays I'm having trouble with my third WR this week. I'm already playing Carolina Steve Smith and Anquan Boldin. My choices: Demaryius Thomas vs Det Deion Branch @ Pit Pierre Garcon @ Ten Based on The Huddle start/bench list, Thomas is the way to go. Projected stats are pretty similar for all three except they did throw in a TD for Branch but predicting TDs isn't easy unless it's Calvin Johnson. My initial gut was to go with Branch who is pretty consistent but it's a tough matchup. I think Tebow's passing game bounces back a little this week and Thomas was targeted quite a bit. I'm not leaning towards Garcon right now but listed him anyway. I appreciate any comments or opinions.
  3. You are very thin at WR. I like your first two picks (assuming White was best WR at the time) but I think you'd be in a lot better shape if you took another WR in either 3rd or 4th. Every other position looks pretty solid, especially for a 14 team league. I'd give it 6-7/10 just because of WR issue. *edit for typo*
  4. Thanks Delusions. I think that is a good plan. My thoughts were Berrian too but even him I don't want to have to drop unless I need to. I'll hold for now.
  5. I drafted MJD and I'm not panicked or anything but I do want to pick up Jennings as a handcuff before anyone else does. Mike Wallace - WR PIT Carnell Williams - RB Tampa Bernard Berrian - WR MIN There are my other bench players but I don't really want to drop any of them. Jabar Gaffney - Denver Mike Williams - Tampa Jonathan Stewart/Ariant Foster - CAR/HOU Non-PPR 10 person league 10yd rush/receive 1pt 6 pt rush/pass/receive TD etc. Standard rules/scoring for the most part
  6. I have a very similar situation. I have some gut feelings added to knowledge and some guesswork. I'd love some opinions on this but to get it started, I'll list these players according to how I'm currently feeling. 1. Kenny Britt Rookie that has done well, new QB who likes him, very talented, has something to prove, angry team that has been playing incredible lately and will do anything to upset their division rivals this week. Downside is that, while I am impressed w/ V. Young as a Titans QB, I don't trust him for fantasy and therefore have doubts about his receivers. 2. Jason Avant He has been solid the last three weeks and the Eagles will very likely be without D. Jackson this week. If you're looking for rest of the season though, I probably wouldn't put him as #2. 3. Antonio Bryant I live in Tampa and watch all of the Bucs games. Bryant is one of the most talented players on the team but has been hampered all year with injuries. Last week he had a good FF week but keep in mind that it was only on three receptions. However, he is the #1 WR and I think defenses will be very distracted by Winslow and give Bryant a few more opportunities. His situation is still in the air though as he has only recently become healthy. 4. Donnie Avery The only other Rams player worth owning besides SJax. I just cannot trust the Rams offense this late in the fantasy season. He has 4 catches each of the last three games ranging between 48 and 67 yards. 2 TD week 10, 0 week 11, 1 week 12. This is a pretty decent output in three weeks and if he were on a different team, I'd call him a solid #2, maybe even low #1. But, he is on the Rams. He could go big but you cant count on him. 5. Austin Collie Very talented and catching balls from one of the best QBs of all time. I just don't trust him to perform as a viable FF starter, though. I don't have a whole lot to back that up, just don't feel it. I could be 1000% wrong but, I personally am not buying in. Anyway, thats just where I'm at on these but I still don't know what I'm going to do myself =)
  7. Belichick's fear of Peyton made me lose. Bonus: Chris Simms sucks. Chris Simms really sucks.
  8. Maybe thread should have ben "Who is the 'best' running back in the league? (after AP)' If you're talking pure raw talent as a runner, it is 100% AP. Other than AP, I think MJD is pretty high up on my list as best all around talent for a back. MBIII deserves some credit as toughest or most aggressive. That guy runs mean.
  9. I like ATL over Dallas too. I just think ATL is the better team. I also kind of like ARI to beat NYG. Eli is playing through an injury that is slowing him down. Without trying to take credit away from NO, Eli had his worst performance of the year last week with 45.2% completion and a rating of 61.0 when previous worst rating was 93.5 and the rest over 100. ARZ is number one against the run and has a very high powered offense so it will be up to Eli to win the game. ARZ has a terrible pass defense but they did pretty well at shutting down Hasslebeck.
  10. I really like the idea of limiting to paying members. I think view-only access to forums for those that don't pay is actually a great solution. You can still gain quite a bit by just reading the threads but it would clean up the boards quite a bit. In a well thought out reply to a WDIS or SIMTT thread that presents a reasonble argument supported by prior knowledge and real data is beneficial to read even if you don't have the players mentioned because it helps people to apply better lines of thinking to their own situation.
  11. I think Jennings is a very big buy-low candidate and I think he starts going off. Last week wasn't great for fantasy but six receptions on eight targets is pretty promising. In every game with under 100 yards receiving, he has been targeted at least five times. I think this is the week people are finally pleased that they have Ryan Grant and/or Jennings on their team.
  12. Ok, the guy is a clown but this is funny "It’s a rule-breaker. I did send the NFL the fine money ahead of time.”
