  1. Ronnie Brown Has shown what he can do now just stay healthy Darren McFadden will be a beast anywhere, unlimited ceiling Wilie Parker shown he can get yards but wont touch endzone Larry Johnson still a beast on decline but needs O line help Laurence Maroney didnt prove when he had the chance Justin Fargas is one to watch but may get squashed in crowded backfield LenDale ( you gonna eat that ) White I wouldnt trust him in my lineup Ricky Williams should just stick with his yoga, his day has passed
  2. " Mr Gambino that was a very intellectually, well thought out arguement....................."
  3. Carolina Panthers officials held a private workout with Illinois RB Rashard Mendenhall yesterday. The Panthers hold the 13th pick, and Mendenhall has been projected to go somewhere between 7 and 15. The team has consistently sent out signals that it is not completely sold on DeAngelo Williams as an every down back, and Mendenhall could be an option as the big back to pair with Williams
  4. I have to disagree with above. Pacman is electric with the ball and he will be the new jersey selling ticket in Dallas, that alone will almost pay his salary for JJ
  5. The NFL Competition Committee's proposal would give wild-card teams a better chance of hosting a first-round game. The two division winners with the best records in each conference would still enjoy a first-round bye, but seeds No. 3 through No. 6 would be slotted by record, although division winners would have a tiebreaker edge over wild-card qualifiers. " If the rule had been implemented last season, wild-card teams Jacksonville (11-5) and the New York Giants (10-6) would have opened the first round at home. Both played on the road against division winners with lesser marks in Pittsburgh (10-6) and Tampa Bay (9-7), respectively. Should the proposal receive the 24 owner votes needed to pass, the regular season's final week could get much more interesting than it was in 2007. Like most other clubs that already had secured a home playoff game, the Steelers and Buccaneers had the luxury of extensively playing backups in Week 17 ".
  6. No need for qb's to buy his front line a Rolex each anymore. Thems getting the contracts now!!
  7. A blurb from fox sports...................... What if Miami just chooses to let time expire without picking a player? The NFL doesn't penalize them and the Dolphins would still retain the pick. They can turn in their pick at any time. So they would let St. Louis pick, Atlanta pick, maybe even Oakland. At any point, they can just walk up to the podium and turn in their choice, and not have to pay 1st overall pick money to the guy. Since Miami has so many needs, they really can target any one of 5 or 6 guys with the pick. Once St. Louis and Atlanta pick, Miami's phone would be ringing off the hook with trade offers. Dallas, for instance, would be more likely. Obviously a scenario that would never happen but interesting thoughts for off season boredom.
  8. I feel for Gore this coming year. With hardly any support in offence he's gonna have a laser beam on his chest, with every db locked in. I can see him looking to the sidline for help and theres Deshaun for the rescue. Not to say Gore wont be focal but Martz will abandon the run and Gore will catch more often then not. I voted 35-39 and believe it could be less.
  9. For an early ranking its bang on. A.P is the new king Though Norwood is a little low for his talent but I believe this ranking to be based on FF points
  10. Even if Farve stayed I wouldn't rank him top ten anyways. My mind is always set on Dynasty formats so a guy comes out of no where and has a decent year doesn't solidify top ten. Re-draft leagues I would take him as a solid #2, and look elsewhere for a stud #1. Dynasty I would happily take him as #3
  11. All being said has some truth. No Qb, no defence, new coach....... He's a stud and will be focal in the offence. He will get his touches and thats alot more that could be said then 75% of the rest of the RB's in a committee. NOW yes Norewood is there but Turner was paid to be the feature back, that for me speaks volumes when it comes to FF. As long as he stays healthy and gets his touches, thats all you need to know as a League owner.
  12. Donte' Stallworth is visiting Cleveland. To have him opposite Edwards would be outstanding. Its really nice to see how this team is coming around, not to mention signing Anderson is now confirmed.
