Have the 1.3 pick in an upcoming rookie draft. The league is a 12 team, 53 man roster, IDP dynasty. Scoring is standard but the league is non PPR. Got a bad team and I am in year two of rebuilding. We start 1qb,2rb,2wr,1te with 2 flex. About 90% of the time , its 1-qb,3-rb,3-wr,1-te. Defense starts 8. Here is what I got. Its not pretty.
QB-A. Rodgers, Flacco
RB- Gore, McClain,Fred Jackson, Fred Taylor, Duckett
WR- Breaston, Curtis, Gage, Morgan, Bess, Hixon, Jarrett
TE-Carlson
Last year did not have a 1st or 3rd rounder because thats what I inherited. Picked up Flacco in the 2nd , Carlson in the 4th & Morgan in the 6th.
I am 99.9% sure Moreno & Wells will be 1-2. So we are looking at Crabtree, Brown or Greene. I was leaning RB until the draft. The draft de-valued my core of weak receivers even more. Now I am unsure.
Crabtree would be the choice based on current rookie rankings here and other places. All this attitude stuff raises his bust factor risk. Brown is the safest pick . He will play some from day one. Really have to have this pick produce something and have staying power.
In closing, my 2nd round pick in 2.11 and my 3rd round pick is 3.3.
