  1. I am not sure what you mean. I always read the advice. I don't understand the follow-up comment.
  2. In a 12 team 53 man IDP non-ppr league. We start 1 QB, 3RB, 3WR, 1TE, 2 DL, 3LB and 3DB I have been offered DeAngelo Williams & Paul P. (MLB Buffalo) for James Davis, Leodis McKelvin, Trent Cole, Beason & my number 1 2010 rookie pick. I am very thin on offense but better than average on defense. My RB's are Jacobs, and nobody else other than a cluster of bye week replacements. I will still be pretty solid on defense. My starting LB's after the trade will be Morrison, Paul P. , James L. and Clint Session. In our league , a top ten LB will score around 150 points over the course of 16 games-a top ten RB will score around 250. My take is I get an huge upgrade at RB. I realize that Williams will not duplicate his 2008 numbers. But Stewart is gimpy and the Panthers will run and run. Davis is impressing, but does anyone think he will run for 1500 yards one day. 4 games against the Steelers and Ravens . Downgrade at LB but still have a starter there. Paying for the upgrade with my number 1 pick. Advice.
  3. In a non-ppr league with 6 points per TD and .1 points per 10 yards, who do you like best? Berrian Hester Evans
  4. I own 4 dynasty teams that allow 53 man rosters and include IDP. We have an annual 6 round rookie draft . The league has standard scoring but no ppr. I have accumulated several of these lower tier rookie backs. With 53 players, you can carry them. I was just interested if anyone thought they would ever amount to anything. I have ordered them by my rankings. 1. Bernard Scott 2. Andre' Brown 3. James Davis 4. Gatrell Johnson 5. Glen Coffee 6. Devin Moore I am mainly interested if any of these guys can ever be a RB3? We can start 3 RBs.
  5. Thanks for the input. I researched my leagues 2008 results. Of the top 50 producers, 23 were QB's, 20 were RB's & only 7 were WR's. Fitz was 27th in the league in scoring and had 9 RB's ahead of him. SInce I have Flacco & Rodgers, the safe pick ( i.e. Rams/Seahawks) is Brown I think.
  6. Have the 1.3 pick in an upcoming rookie draft. The league is a 12 team, 53 man roster, IDP dynasty. Scoring is standard but the league is non PPR. Got a bad team and I am in year two of rebuilding. We start 1qb,2rb,2wr,1te with 2 flex. About 90% of the time , its 1-qb,3-rb,3-wr,1-te. Defense starts 8. Here is what I got. Its not pretty. QB-A. Rodgers, Flacco RB- Gore, McClain,Fred Jackson, Fred Taylor, Duckett WR- Breaston, Curtis, Gage, Morgan, Bess, Hixon, Jarrett TE-Carlson Last year did not have a 1st or 3rd rounder because thats what I inherited. Picked up Flacco in the 2nd , Carlson in the 4th & Morgan in the 6th. I am 99.9% sure Moreno & Wells will be 1-2. So we are looking at Crabtree, Brown or Greene. I was leaning RB until the draft. The draft de-valued my core of weak receivers even more. Now I am unsure. Crabtree would be the choice based on current rookie rankings here and other places. All this attitude stuff raises his bust factor risk. Brown is the safest pick . He will play some from day one. Really have to have this pick produce something and have staying power. In closing, my 2nd round pick in 2.11 and my 3rd round pick is 3.3. Comments please.
  7. Anyone what to venture a guess at this situation after Peerman was added? I have McClain on two teams. Kind of treating him as a RB3. Is that to high?
  8. Whites a good player. I really think Henne will be the QB but White will play some QB.
  9. To me, WR's are deeper than 2008 and maybe TE. RB are no where close to 2008. QB's --we will have to wait and see. I for one am having a real hard time ranking these guys. I am in 6 rookie drafts. I have a 1.2, 1.3 , 1.4, 1.7 & 1.11 & 1.12. I feel almost as good about 1.11 & 1.12 as the others. QB's- Just don't know about these guys. I don't see an immediate impact, but maybe long term. RB's- Moreno will be okay. Wells appears to be in a good situation but they just don't run much. Brown I would be scared of. It may be a RBBC if Addai gets fired up. McCoy might be good if you own Westbrook. WR's- DHB , I don't like. Crabtree, Maclin, Britt, Nicks , Harvin , Robiskie --I really like the WR corp. Te's- There some players there. If I was ranking the top 12 ( assuming a 12 team league) here you go: 1. Moreno 2. Wells 3. Crabtree 4. Maclin 5. McCoy 6. Brown 7. Sanchez 8. Stafford 9. Harvin 10. Nicks 11. Britt 12. DHB Non-ppr rankings But as I said, I have no clue.

Is Mccoy Westbrooks ultimate replacement or a stop gap?
  11. Will Moreno be a featured back? The head coach never seemed to have one in NE. It was always a committee.
  12. How do you pass on Crabtree.
  13. Mayock says don't be surprised if this guy is the number 1 QB of the future in Miami over Henne. I don't know about that. I am thinking emergency QB , kick returner, wildcat guy & slot receiver. Its like 3 picks in 1.
  14. I agree. Between June , Diles & Xavier A. , what have you gained. Should have gone CB.
  15. Assuming Crabtree wins a starting job, who will be the other starter. Bruce, Morgan, Jones or Hill. I thought they were high on Morgan, and they may be. Crabtree may have been best available and a better option over the middle. Morgan is a deep threat. Thoughts.
