  1. LT did start out a little slow last year, maybe it would be a good idea for him to jump in and get hit once or twice this year durring the pre-season.
  2. I was watching the Bears vs. KC the other day, and it was pretty obvious that the Bears strategy was to get the ball to Forte. As the Bears have always said that they get off the bus running the ball, what is everyone's opinion on him going into the season. The Bears will have K. Jones as a back up and once he is fully healthy their could be fewer carries for Forte. However, as they say when ever there is a QB battle it usually means that they don't have a solid #1. So I would expect the Bears to focus strongly on the run game most of the year once again. But, where do you see Forte or K. Jones falling to in a 12 team draft?
  3. Can you trust anything that Denver says durring the preseason? They are one of the most difficult teams to figure out, and they are usually so spread out that the players are only worth late round flyers in fantasy football (well besides their RB's if you can pick the right one).
  4. Please don't say that ESPN has one of the best Mock drafts. Sometimes it is best to pay $10 and sign up for a site that will give your comprehensive stratigies as well as mock drafts, and just about anything else you can find. Look at some sites such as: fantasyfootball.com, fantasyplayers.com, scoutfantasyfootball.com, or even fantasyfootballcafe.com and you will find that these sites are much worth the time to ensure that your team is ready to compete durring the season. ESPN has mock drafts put together by guys like Nick Lachey and the next Miss America. If your going to spend around $100-$250 on a team and then trust them I dont know what to say.
  5. I would suggest picking up a WR and then coming back to get a RB. You can't worry about your bye weeks before your able to put up a solid team. If you grab Colston and then work your way to get another RB and WR, depending on how the draft is going you should still be able to walk away with a Hasselbeck type QB.
  6. I would stay away from Holt this year. He is only getting older and if you have Wayne in the prime that is not even a question there. Find the difference on some mock drafts and you can determine if trades are worth it easily right now. Just copare who is comperable per round. Mock drafts are very good to study so you can get a good idea how to format your team.
  7. I had Calvin on my team last year, and it was so aggervating watching that offense. Now that Martz is gone, and I would assume that they will go back to a normal offense I could not see Calvin not having a good year. When they threw the ball his way last year, it was very difficult to stop him. You have a lot of weapons on the Lions (yes I said the Lions). If they can establish the run just a bit, and then have Roy and Calvin available it would be a tough combo to stop. I would think about drafting him and then look to trade him half way through the season. The Lions always seem to fall apart so sell high.
  8. This one has me stumped I really do not know what to think. I was over at a website scoutfantasyfootball.com and they were talking like he is going to have a big year if he can stay in Cinci. But, is he going to be able to stay in a good relationship with Palmer? I have a draft coming up in a week, and I need to get some answers because everything I can see is he is projected to be there in the beginging of the 3rd round, and if he is going to be productive I would love to grab him there.
  9. What about Devin Hester? There are a lot of people out my way that seem to think Hester is going to be able to transform the horrible Chicago Bears offense. I just do not buy into it. It will take a lot more then some speed on the outside to make me consider drafting him any where near the top 5-7 rounds. Unless your league counts kick returns which if it does changes things a bit, (maybe 5 or 6 TD's on returns could help), but looking at him as a #1 WR on any team should be out of the question.
  10. I am not sure about Jackson this year. Last year I had him high on my boards and he was good, but he was injured and never seemed to be great. This year I am going at him with a little caution. When you select a playe in the top 5 you want to make sure that they are going to be a lock to be a difference maker. Grant it, that I do not see a ton a great RB's this year, and Jackson has the potential to carry your team. To say that I am not a little concerned would be a lie.
