  1. I'm a Shockey owner and would like to know who's the better option out of Dave Thomas and Lance Moore going into tonight. I'm almost glad that Shockey is OUT as opposed to playing hurt or just plain sucking it up like he has been for too long. Any other Shockey owners or readers have an opinion?
  2. Hmmmmm. I'm gonna say this is too even to really call. As an owner of both, I'm rolling with Breaston for the very reason we question him. I'm banking on this being one of his better games of the year.I've been hearing the weather in NY is not ideal. (Cold and windy) I've been patient with him and I hope this is his day. Do you get any return points? Breaston is a punt returner that should get his fair share of chances. Go with your gut man. You've already got Breaston in your lineup for a reason. He's got a tad bit more upside in my opinion with the way AZ throws it around.
  3. Thanks fellaz..... Anybody else have any suggestions? My biggest concern is MBIII vs Ganther and at the WR position.
  4. Thanks for checking my post bro. Quick question for you so I can give you the best answer-what is your scoring format? I'd go with A.B. and Ganther depending on your answer, with Barber coming in third.
  5. This is for a standard scoring format. 1 pt per every 10 yards, and 6 pts per TD. Who is the better MSW replacement? Breaston vs. S. F. Devin Thomas vs. OAK Murphy or Schillens vs WASH Who is the better RB play? MBIII vs. SD or Ganther vs. OAK Which is the better Defensive play? AZ vs S.F. or Tampa vs NYJ (No Sanchez) Clemons will start in his absence. Thanks for reading! Please post up your suggestions, and leave a link so I can check out any of yours!
  6. Philly is, and always will be a PASSING team. McCoy has just now got the hang of being able to pick up a blitz, which is HUGE in Andy's offense. Andy and Donovan are still working on that trust with him and he'll get more touches along with screens. Weaver's success is also a factor. He's a hard-running FB that has the speed of Marian Barber and he doesn't get as many carries as I'd like him to either. Just the way it will always be in Philadelphia.
  7. WHEW! I was close to regretting my advice there for a minute! Who did you roll with?
  8. I would personally go with the "hotter" hand in Big Shank. He's become as much a part of the Vikings Red-Zone offense as AP darn near. I think the Giants and Cowboys know each other so well from division play, that Witten is always game-planned for fairly well. (intent-wise!) I give the slight edge to Shiancoe in what may be a nice little shoot-out between the "Grumpy Old Men" of the league. He should have success in the middle similiar to what we saw from the Titans with Rice and Berrian pulling coverage. Neither choice is a bad deal considering some of us trusted in Shockey at this years draft. Roll with Shancoe in my opinion. Good luck no matter what you decide bro.
  9. I can only start 4, so 1 of these guys will have to be eliminated. I'm leaning towards Cribbs, but wanted a second opinion. SCORING: 1pt per every 10 yards receiving or rushing AND 1 pt per every 20 return yards--6pts for TD's. Fitzgerald vs MN (Hard to bench even if Kurt sits) Mike Sims-Walker vs HOU Jason Avant vs ATL Derrick Mason vs GB (If Woodson is covering him, I have little faith in his production on MNF) Steve Breaston vs MN (Not fond of starting two WR's from the same team unless it's a no lose situation.) Josh Cribbs vs SD (He only goes off when I bench him) Not a very fluid offense so his only chances come on punts and kickoffs. What do you think?) QB's: I'm still hung on who to start out of McNabb and Carson Palmer Seems as if McNabb will be without Jackson, but should have all other weapons. Any opinions? TE's? I've stuck with Shockey for the LAST time. Do I start him against Washington or pickup Rosario, Scaife, or James Casey? Thanks again for your help!!!
  10. CINCY, CINCY, CINCY...........I've got more respect for Buffalo's offense than I do for Detriot.
  11. This is for the playoffs here folks! I've got to make the best decisions possible so help a brotha out! LOL! McNabb @ ATL (still waiting to see what's the outcome of DJAX and CELEK's status for Sunday) Palmer vs DET (Home game for the Bengals) Not sure which guy gives me the best shot of winning. QB's are awarded 1 pt per every 50 yards and 6 pts per TD Now on to the defenses: CIN vs DET (I'm a LITTLE scared of Megatron going off) OR TAMPA vs CAR (Just picked them up thinking Delhomme would be playing poorly. Now Matt Moore?) So what do you think? I really need to get it right on BOTH! Leave a link and I'll be happy to assist with yours as well.
  12. Of those 3, I'd def roll with McNabb. Keep an eye on his main two weapons in the pass game (DeSean and Celek). DJAX may have suffered a concussion, and Celek is fighting torn ligaments in his hand or some type of sprain. If both of those guys sit, I'd roll with Cutler. Vince seems to be good for only 1 TD per game so he'd be my last option. Hopefully McNabb has his full arsenal of weapons. I'm rolling with him over Palmer unless I get some bad news regarding Celek and DJAX. Good luck!!!
  13. WR/RB-Donald Driver would be my pick. I also rank those players just as you have them listed. TE-Winslow by a hair. DEF is a tossup. You have two really good matchups. I'd say Bengals just because they should be pissed after OAK outplayed them, and the Chiefs are playing very good football lately. I believe the Browns will be their normal crappy selves this week again.
  14. This is a standard scoring format. QB's get 6 pts per TD and 1 pt for every 50 yards. RB's get 6 pts per TD and 1 pt for every 10 yards. Not sure out of these four players, which two give me the best chance to get maximum points. Any ideas or suggestions? McNabb plays Washington in Philly Carson plays Cleveland in Cincy. Cardinals travel to TEN Cowboys play at home. Leave a link and I'll help with yours as always!! Thanks!!!
  15. I would give a slight edge to Slaton. Less offensive "mouths" to feed on the Texans and Slaton should be running hard as ever after earning his starting job back. I take Slaton just because of the possible upside. At worst, I don't see Barber outproducing Slaton so start Steve.
