  1. I have DeAndre Hopkins and am dead set on unloading him. He managed a decent outing with the downgrade at QB, but this was against the leagues worst passing defense. Meaning his 6 catches on 16 targets may be a "peak" from Savage. Obviously I would never dream of making this trade with Watson there, but I feel after this week his trade value won't be any lower. That being said, McCaffrey has a cake schedule coming up and I am in need of a RB pretty badly. My starters are Murray, Darkwa and R. Kelley. My WR's are Mike Evans, Devante Parker, DeAndre Hopkins, Dede Wesbrook, Martavus Bryant and Josh Gordon (last 3 are wild cards but I need to bank on them at this point). We start 2 WR and 2 RM with a flex. This is a PPR league. Should I look for more somewhere else?
  2. The interesting part to me about this report is that Cole stated this rehab stint was "in cooperation with the NFL". That to me means he is working towards a realistic goal of being reinstated rather than just saying, hey I'm going to rehab (again), I hope they like it.
  3. What are everyone's thought on him this year? In my opinion, he is one of if not the biggest wildcard this year. When he was on the field in 2015, he was a top 5 fantasy WR. He has incurred season-ending injuries in consecutive seasons, including the first game of last year and mid-way through the season in 2015. So yeah, injuries. Yet he in projecting in the 4th round this year. Who is reaching?
  4. I think it has more to do with the Saints wanting to show teams that blanketing him like that does nothing to stop their offense. Of course this is just my opinion, but it's what I always thought about the situation.
  5. Are we assuming it's a torn labrum because of his history or has this been reported?
  6. I see this as being so even that I'm actually unsure of which one I would rather have.
  7. I saw that West had 11 for 95 in that game. Looking at his snaps, he had 5 carries in the first quarter, 2 in the second quarter, then 3 straight on the opening drive of the 3rd quarter, which was 10 carries. He had one more which went for 27 yards on the following drive and that was it. You literally have one thing working for you and you abandoned it. I don't see how this doesn't bode well for West.
  8. Having playoff seeding determined by power rankings, if you have that option, is absolutely the way to go. My first year in my main CBS league I was #1 in points, which I received a pot of money for, but I missed the playoffs due to my record. We've since changed that. Last year there was a team that was 0-8 and finished the regular season 5-8, nabbing the last playoff spot. I don't like playing in leagues where team records are the only factor in playoff seeding. It factors luck into the equation a bit too much.
  9. I am taking over one of the longest running leagues that I've been a part of, and I want to make it as fun/exciting as possible. I was hoping to get some feed back on what is going on in your league. One of the things I am considering is some kind of system for if/when your top pick sustain a season-ending injury. I've heard of at least one person talking about it on here. The goal is to remove the element of "luck" as much possible. This could include a special IR spot on your bench for a backup of your top RB or QB. That being said, I understand there may be no good way of doing it. Just throwing the idea out there. Anything else you can recommend? Thanks guys!
  10. Not going to start a Norman-Julio discussion, just going to say grab Roddy for a flex play week 14.
  11. Keep a close eye on ASJ. FINALLY cleared for contact. Should you start him this week? Probably not. Should you pick him up to see what he may bring this or next week, and/or in preparation of the playoffs? Bet your ass.
  12. Not as long as their competing for home field advantage.
  13. He can improve on that by not touching the ball at all.
  14. Prediction: gets signed by SF, gets his shot. They don't care about his 10-cent head because they've already packed it in. SF has one of the softest playoff schedules, RB1 ROS. Time to pick him up boys! Let's discuss.
