  1. Ok, I made the offer of Tate and Johnson for Cruz and Wilson....he countered with Tate for Wilson straight up. I'm thinking I may do it, given that Tate has Foster in front of him and Wilson only has Bradshaw. Wilson is more likely to be a part of the offense as the season goes on. As long as Foster is healthy, Tate will remain a good backup. I can also keep Wilson for 2 more years, Tate is just for this year. Any thoughts?
  2. Interesting idea, the only problem is that I already have Eli Manning as my QB, don't want to have 3 parts of my offense all on one team.
  3. I think I like what you have....Brown and Wayne. When in doubt, go with what has worked, what is most consistent, I think that would be Wayne over Decker or Harvin. Brown probably has more potential carries than Jennings.
  4. My roster: RBs: McCoy, R Bush, D Thomas, B Tate WRs: Welker, Steve Johnson, Heyward-Bey, James Jones, R Cobb, D Hester
  5. I like the consistency of Rice over McFadden, I don't think I'd do it. But it comes down to this: do you think Bowe will be that much better than Crabtree to where you are willing to take a greater risk with McFadden?
  6. The A. Foster owner in my league wants to make a trade with me for Ben Tate. With Fosters knee problem, what should I ask for in return? It's a performance league with bonus points for first downs and 20+ yards. We can also sign players for up to 3 years, I have Tate just for this year. Here are his RBs and WRs along with their contract years: RB Kevin Smith (1 year) RB Cedric Benson (1) RB Willis McGahee (1) RB Ryan Williams (3) RB David Wilson (3) WR Dwayne Bowe (1) WR Victor Cruz (3) WR Malcolm Floyd (1) WR Davone Bess (1) WR David Nelson (1) From the above list, who would you be willing to give up to get Tate? Thanks
  7. It's a 10 team, non PPR, and yardage is about half what most leagues are (1 point per 20 yds instead of 10 yds for example).
  8. In addition to J Charles and D McFadden, who should I keep? S Greene RB as a 7th round pick, or M Manningham WR as a 10th?
  9. I am in a 10 team league that keeps up to 3 players, sometimes I will do a 12 team mock draft to simulate the 20 to 30 players that are not available. And it still helps to practice your "in draft" strategy and making quick decisions between particular players.
  10. Just wondering what others think about how the change to kicking off from the 30 yd line instead of the 35 will affect fantasy scoring....with all the touchbacks, starting at the 20 most times would seem to at least minimize touchdowns while increasing yardage. How else would it affect the scoring? Will there be more opportunities for "big play TDs" and fewer "goal line TDs"? Will there be more passing plays because scoring drives will have to cover more yards? Will WRs then steal points away from RBs?
  11. I would let him go in both leagues.....he might end up being worth the price you pay to keep him, but it doesn't look like he has much of a chance of exceeding his value as a keeper. You have plenty of other RBs to keep, I say drop McGahee.
  12. It would depend on where your are in first round of the draft....if you can get one of your top 6 RBs, then keep Grant. Otherwise, Gore has potential for a great year and it sounds like he is mentally ready after all the trouble he had last year.
  13. I would keep Manning and Parker, then try to get Mendenhall as good upside insurance
  14. With only 3 RBs you better be on the look-out for a surprise RB that you can add early in the season.
