  1. +1. Cam will be a huge upgrade for someone out there.
  2. I like it a lot, actually. Gronk is a big upgrade over most any TE not named Hernandez or Graham and I don't see Garcon putting up much value with the Colts as bad as they are right now.
  3. I'd go Romo. that Bills D isn't particularly good and you're spot on about Tebow, he looks to me like the QB version of a guy like Torrey Smith. Huge points one week, little the next. Considering you're ok at QB, maybe try moving Tebow to shore up other positions of need.
  4. I wouldn't. I'm in a league with similar scoring and CJ has more points than those two combined. In fact, he's the #1 scoring position player in that league and Welker, the #2, is almost thirty points off CJ's pace.
  5. I've just never been comfortable with a WR heavy draft strategy. I was almost ready to do it this year but I drafted in the top six in both of my leagues and just couldn't pass up a stud RB. One of my friends tends to go WR-QB-WR or WR-WR-QB each year he's in the bottom half of a draft and when his sleeper RBs hit, he's loaded. When they don't, he misses the playoffs. You can win with it, but it seems boom or bust to me. This year it's probably more bust than boom unfortunately.
  6. Yeah, Green Bay has 3 of the top 20 WRs in the NFL and one of the top 3 TEs. Aaron Rodgers deserves all the love he gets, but folks still don't seem to understand just how good the Packers receiving corps is. The Saints have an elite WR and an elite TE plus a bunch of solid guys to compliment - GB has those elite guys plus excellent guys to compliment. It's sick how good those guys are.
  7. That anonymous Lions defender quote that came out yesterday pretty much sums it up. There's no quarterback in this league not named Tim Tebow that would draw a remark like that, and it's not because of his religion or his personality or any of that garbage, it's because he's historically awful. He's the worst quarterback I've seen since Ryan Leaf, and Leaf didn't give a damn about playing in the NFL. No amount of shaping the offense around him will make this guy consistently throw an accurate, catchable ball or know where to throw vs. the coverage on the field. It's just an absolute joke - Orton is doubtless a bad NFL quarterback, but at least he's an NFL quarterback. At this point, I'm concerned that Tebow is going to get killed back there. The only question is why this is even a discussion.
  8. Well, the significant other is a Wisconsin-raised die hard Pack fan, so I've seen all of their games so far this year. It's hardly Finley's fault - there are so many weapons on that offense that even a guy with his talent isn't going to get 8+ targets a game like he would on most teams. Finley is probably the 2nd or 3rd best TE in the league, he just plays with a stupidly efficient Rodgers who finds the open guy almost every time.
  9. Chiefs. They've got an outside shot at being one of the worst teams in recent memory.
  10. I didn't see the hit until Monday night's halftime show, and I was pretty stunned. A lot of these things are just incidental, but that was a clear headshot if I've ever seen one. 40k is a joke to an NFL starter. If I'm the commish, I'm fining a guy like this 25% of his yearly salary, which for a guy making 5.5 million like Robinson would be 1.38 million. That or a significant suspension would fix the problem overnight.
  11. Woodhead is an easy candidate to be jettisoned for a good WW pickup. I'd drop him for Burleson and take Graham with your open slot. Kuhn will get you seven points one week and then nothing the next, goal line duty is literally the only thing he does in GB. Not really roster worthy IMO.
  12. He'll be fine. No way you drop a guy you spent a high pick on after one crummy week. Decker is good, but you've got to have a weaker WR to drop for him than Williams.
  13. This was what I kept telling my Panther fan friends all through the offseason. The Panthers had a serious RB surplus and holes almost everywhere else, seemed like the smartest thing they could have done is gotten something for DWill while they could.
  14. Not a bad idea, though I think Foster's injury has a chance to linger. What's this, the third time in as many months he's tweaked a hamstring? That's a serious trend. If I had Tate, I'd be holding on to him for at least another week.
  15. I actually thought about this the other day - if a team can clog the middle of the field and force Brady's throws outside, they may have a chance of slowing that offense down. But it's a small chance.
