  1. I've been riding out Baltimore's D/ST all season, and pretty content with it. However this week my opponent has a couple Giants in his roster (Eli and somebody else I can't remember), so I'm considering picking up a different D/ST for this week. My options are... Jets D/ST @NE Ariz D/ST @Sea Which would you start? I know Jets D is doing well lately, but NE tends to walk all over them. Ariz D is facing the weak Seattle offense, however Hasselbeck is back now. I'm leaning towards Arizona's Defense, but figger'd I'd get a consensus.
  2. I'm on the opposite side of that conundrum. I'm leading by 1 point and still have Santana Moss to play, and my opponent has nobody left. I'd be more comfortable if I extended that lead by a couple more points in fear of the odd event there are some stat corrections that tips the scale the other way (or a tie). So I'm hoping he doesn't just suit up, but indeed does play and not just stand on the sidelines. Maybe I'll drop Nate Washington in his place.
  3. If Frerotte keeps tossing those interceptions, I could see this happening in the Texans/Vikings game when they pull him. (however I think he'll pull his head out of his ass...here's to hopin anway)
  4. Pay extra for what? ESPN doesn't cost anything anymore.
  5. Bagging or Tanking is never good. At the very least, the commish should bump him down to the bottom of the waiver-wire. Any further action would probably be moot since you said all teams make it into the playoffs anyway, and it doesn't sound like you're in a money league. If possible, try to find a new owner for the team. If the person tanking games is upset over hoarding...well he should have drafted better.
  6. One of those ranking pages you are looking at isn't rankings for the season, but just for the current week. Also, positional ranks for the whole season, individual players ranks will vary depending on how your league's scoring is setup, as it calculates seasonal ranking for you based on calculating their total score based on those settings.
  7. Koren Robinson - Packers Odell Thurman - Bengals (and think a few other bengals as well) Torie Cox - Bucs Just to name a few... happens all the time.
  8. Haven't seen it mentioned in this thread, but does nobody have a weekly loser trophy that travels? Ours gets passed over each week to the team with the lowest points for the week. It's basically made from a bowling ball and old automotive parts and it weighs about 25lbs and it has to be carried around wherever they go (to our weekly get-togethers, to work, etc...) It's ugly as sin and a pain to carry around.
  9. WTH? How small is your league that you have 8 (EIGHT!) quality RB's in your roster? I'm only askin cuz...if one team is stacked like that, then it'll be hard to judge what other teams in your league have to give any real advice.
  10. Actually... yeah... Aside from the last 2 game played, he put up decent numbers. He's always been the goal line go-to guy for TD's. He might not be an allstar, but he's definately still a "must start" if you have him on your roster.
  11. In that scenario it was never in possession. You have to either touch two feet to the ground while holding onto the ball (to insinuate forward progress), or hold onto the ball until you're down and the play is dead.
  12. Housh doesn't have Palmer and it's not certain whether Eddie Royal starts (even if he does he'll be hurting). Housh at Jets or Stokely vs Jacs Originally I thought Housh, but without Palmer I'm not too certain anymore.
  13. If (and only if) Eddie Royal doesn't start this week, who would you start? Brandon Stokely or Houshmandzadeh? On the one hand Stokely would be playing opposite Marshall, so will probably get a lot of looks. But on the other, Housh and the Bengals have been coming out of their shell lately.
  14. Sorry, I didn't mean just the 3rd down pass attempt. I think they should have been running the ball all 3 downs. Unless the Vikes burned out their timeouts, the two minute warning would have come before the 3rd down. They were already within respectable FG range so knew that even if they don't get a first down, they'd still have a good scoring chance. Shoulda attempted the run, eat the clock and maybe get Gramm 5 - 8 yards closer.
