Couldn’t watch the game tonight, but saw that Diggs only had one catch for 4 yards on only four targets. Also saw that he suffered a groin injury, but that he returned?
For those who saw the game, was Chicago doubling him up all night and how serious did his injury seem to be? Thanks in advance.
Can anyone recall a time that a supposedly elite or semi elite player started off so slowly but turned it around mid season? I’m striggling to recall one, but my memory ain’t the greatest!
Dude is a waste of a roster spot. Can’t start him and can’t trade him. Would almost be better off using his spot for a proven injured player expected to return at some point.
I'm reading that Smith Sr broke four bones in his back from the spearing by Lawfence Simmons in the Thursday night game. No word if or how long he'll be out. UPDATE: might be ribs not vertebrae
Chris Givens was also traded to the Ravens today.
Other sites have been touting this guy as somewhat of a sleeper in Tennessee given the overall ineffectiveness of Sankey and McCluster. Apparently had a good preseason and Whisenhunt likes him.
Tennessee homers and those in the know, is this the back to own in Tennessee?
Irish, pick one for my flex in a PPR:
Sanders @ CIN (flu, Peyton struggling, less targets recently, Monday night game with no options to sub him for if he doesn't end up taking the field)
Or
Gordon @CAR (errr, JFF)
Thanks man
Looks like Hyde is unlikely to play this week and Gore is still going through concussion protocols.
49ers just signed Phillip Tanner. You guys have any idea whether he or Alfonso Smith is likely to get the start this Saturday? Yes my RBs are that weak that I have to even think about this.
Irish - one more..same PPR league:
AJ green vs CLE ( Haden's history shutting him down and Dalton's propensity to choke in big games scares the dickens out if me)
Or
Josh Gordon vs CIN (all it takes is a broken play...)
