  1. Keep White, Johnson, Royal and More. I also like Bal at 16 and Shaub at 10, but I would go with the four I mentioned.
  2. Johnson is the new kid on the block with a lot of talent on a team that runs the ball. However, Lendall is there and will vulture a lot of TDs. Jackson has a lot of talent too. However, he plays on a horrible team. Maybe his O-line improves, but one thing for sure he catches the ball a lot and does not have to worry about losing any stats to another RB. Close call, but I would keep Jackson.
  3. Completely ridiculous. There is never a reason to reject a trade unless there is obvious collusion. Other teams shouldn't even look at the rosters. A decision to reject a trade should only involve looking at the players being traded. This is a case of weak people that are jealous that they are not making a trade to improve their team. If Im not trading then no one else is either, I am so glad I gave up public leagues years ago. I wouldn't walk away. Keep trying to make the trades until they pass. But if it angers you so much that your blood pressure rises then by all means walk away. It was only 30 bucks.
  4. I had a 7-6 record and finished second in overall scoring. Averaged 135 pts per game. I know its hard to believe that a team can be so good with nothing at RB. That second round pick could be in the top 5. His team finished 10th in the 08 season. No smoke N Mirrors Link To MFL Website Goes to show how overvalued RBs really are these days. My team Bean's Blitzn' Bulldogs
  5. Sounds like you agree with me. Williams is not a stud, good player with potential, yes. If he was a stud then he would go in the top three and not in the middle of the first. We all know that stud RBs go in top three. I dont think anyone hates Williams. We all know he has potential. My point was people are going to look at his stats from last year and salivate. He will get picked high in the first round. He might very well be worthy, I just dont think he is solid sure fire stud. If you pick a RB in the top half of the first round then your expecting big numbers. And there is no way you can argue the stats from last year. They are definitely inflated due to the poor run defense. Yeah the Giants had an off day and Williams was great and torched them, but please dont bring up TB, they had a poor run defense.
  6. I wouldn't make any moves just yet. The only thing I would have done differently was not have drafted Taylor and went with another TE. I also dont usually carry more than 2 QBs in a redraft. Maybe you could trade one for a WR, but you will have to package it like these guys said. This is a pretty good team, but to be honest in a 10 team league everyone should have a good roster. Good Luck
  7. He finished in the bottom 4. So there is a good chance I finish in the top 4 and he finishes in the bottom 4 in 09, but you never know it can all change very quickly in fantasy football.
  8. Oh, I will be cutting some suck very soon. If I can get some of these rooks then you bet I will. I will be Competitive, hell I won this league last season with the crap at RB and finished 3rd in 07. That's why I went after Brown now at least I have one RB to put in there for the 09 season. This is the 3rd year of this league and I drafted Maroney and Benson with my first twp picks in 07. Now my RBs have sucked ever since. I thought I had something with Hightower , but that fizzled fast.
  9. James Davis CLE - Jamal Lewis is a trusted vet and Harrison is looking good in OTAs Bernard Scott CIN - Might have a chance to take the job from Benson, but not likely to be used as a starter in 09. Rashad Jennings JAX - MJD Glen Coffee SF - Gore Andre Brown NYG - Jacobs None of these guys are going to be useful enough as a starter in 09. These are all nice picks, but you will have to stash them away. I needed a starter for the 09 season not the 2010 or 2011 season.
  10. I dont know. Stewart had 183 carries, averaged 4.6 YPC and had 10 TDs.
  11. I figured he would go in the 4th round. That is two of your top 4 picks to get the tandem. Good move trading him and not having to even worry about Stewart.
  12. For a dynasty league then I think you made a good decision. Where did Stewart go? Because I wouldn't want to have to use a pick on Stewart very early just to cuff him with Williams. I can see why dynasty owners are not taking him in the top three, but you can bet in redraft he will go in the top 3 a lot. Im just not sure that will be a good move for those owners.
  13. Taking him in the bottom half of the first round is a sound decision. I just dont think he will be avaliable in the bottom half, with all the imploded stats from last season. If I had a top 6 pick I would go in another direction.
  14. Williams YPC average 06 - 4.1 07 - 5.0 08 - 5.5 Although inflated due to the weak run defences he faced most of the season. IMO Still you look at the averages and you can say there is a lot of potential there to be a stud. I just need to see one more season before I give him stud status and top three pick worthiness.
