  1. I think either is a better option, although I'd lean towards Walter. This week he may be the primary passing option.
  2. I'd hang on to Moss. He's not going to Minnesota to be a decoy.
  3. I'd drop Jones personally. I think Blount has more upside. Just my 1/2 cent.
  4. Hillis has been a solid producer every time he's been given a chance dating back to Denver. As long as he stays healthy, I like him a lot.
  5. The Jennings trade is a done deal, although I will have his services this week. Green Bay spreads the ball around pretty equally between the big 3 and Jennings seems to be more of the big playmaker than a consistent possession receiver who'll get a handful of catches a week. I think Bryant is oozing with potential and there's no way Jerry Jone'd doesn't get his prized possession the ball on a frequent basis. Hernandez has been solid all season in PPR format and feel he's an upgrade to my TE's. I have some faith left in Celek but the clock is ticking and I can't afford to wait and see and how Kolb does at the helm. I appreciate the insight. I'm hoping I can turn the ship around and quick. I've even tried changing my team name. I've been giving them two weeks to work. I think I really screwed myself with my initial name of Superbad. Went from that to McLovin in week3. I've recently renamed to Jessica Biel's Booty so I'm hoping Jessica and her Booty can will me through to a win.
  6. I'm 0-4 in a ppr league with a decent amount of money at stake. I feel as tho i'm in must win mode and decided to shake things up a bit. I traded A. Peterson and Dwayne Bowe and received Roddy White and Greg Jennings in return. My thoughts: Roddy White is literally force fed the football and is quite consistent. I've lost patience with Bowe and feel Jennings makes up for the gap between White and Peterson. I also traded Colston for Derrick Mason and Ryan Torain My thoughts: Wanted to hang on to Colston but needed help with RB and Team that had Torain was the only team I could get a bite from. I think if Torain (well I hope) stays healthy, he can be more than a servicable back. Thus far Mason and Colston are pretty close statistically. I've just completed another trade, which trades Jennings and John Carlson and me getting Dez Bryant and Aaron Hernandez. My thoughts: my TE's have been killing me all season, along with the majority of my team and I'm intrigued by Hernandez and think Bryant will get his fair share of targets in Big D. Funny thing about this trade is that we have a stipulation that the trade doesn't go through until next Tuesday because the team I play has Bryant and Hernandez. More so than that, they have Rogers and no way will I trade Jennings away for Bryant this week being that Hernandez is off. New Lineup Old Lineup Orton Orton Torain Peterson D. Williams D. Williams R. White D. Bowe Greg Jennings M. Colston K. Walter K. Walter Celek Celek Let me know what u think.
  7. Moore is going to be like all other saints receivers, boom or bust. I think Lloyd and Gaffney are your best options. Torain is a crap shoot. BJGE is the safer RB option.
  8. If it aint broke, don't fix it. I'd hang tight
  9. Williams' has minimal value right now until he does something. Not going to trade him for another middle tier WR which is what my whole roster is. Ironically, the only thing I was disappointed with after my auction was my QB. I left the draft with McNabb and picked up Orton before week 1. According to PPR cheatsheat, I had 2 top 6 RB's, 3 top 15WR's, and a top 5 TE. The only thing I didn't plan on was Williams. He was going for a reasonable price and got stuck with him. I wanted to pick up a top tier QB, which as of right now, still doesn't make a difference with the way Orton is playing.
  10. Well, we looked good on paper on week 1 but we don't play on paper, almost, but not quite. PPR league: Orton McNabb Anderson A. Peterson M. Forte D. Williams T. Hightower M. Colston D. Bowe K. Walter Jacoby Jones M. Thomas M. Williams (sea) B. Celek T. Heap I traded Steve Smith(NYG) for Forte just last week and naturally Smith has his best game while Forte bombs which I knew was going to happen. I started McNabb this week against the Rams over Orton who I had started in wk 1 and 2 and yes, I would have won this week. D. Williams, Colston, and Celek are primary reasons the ship is sinking. Throw Bowe into that mix as well. I play the top team in my league wk 4 and I'm without Peterson. I'm normally optimistic but it doesn't seem to promising.
  11. I have more interest in Torain. Just think Washington has more overall potential on offense. I plan to make a play in a couple of leagues for him unless I here anything different over the next couple of days that says anything different than Portis going to third down duty and Torain becoming the primary rusher. Don't think he is no savior or nothing, but I do think he may be worth a stash and see how this weeks game plays out.
  12. I like Austin a lot. Guys is prolly gettin cold feet after a subpar performance although I like your WR squad as is. Only thing I see you could do, would be to package S. Moss with someone else that he may need and make a play for Austin.
  13. I'm a Saints homer and have Colston in 2 leagues and would drop him a heartbeat for Marshall. Absolute no brainer. Saints spread the ball out too much and Colston just seems to be used so far to move the chains.
  14. Denver's passing game looked impressive against the Colts. Although they struggled in the redzone, that passing game was shredding the Colts Def. I've never seen so many play action passes where the O-line just floods to one side and Orton throws against to grain to a receiver one on one on the opposite side of the play action. Seemed like a pick-6 waiting to happen every time but Orton was sticking them in there. Sucks so bad that I benched Orton this week in favor of McNabb going against the Rams. Now I need Forte to have a good game tonite to win a game that should already be won.
  15. I got to watch Denver play for the first time yesterday and looks like they have a full blown receiver rotation going on there. The passing game looks awefully good, except in the red zone, but the recievers just rotate in and out on different series. Looks a lot like the Saints where they are spreading the ball around .
