  1. Hrmmm so now the team that originally proposed the trade (in person, not officially online) is going back on the trade, probably because of the news that Megatron traveled with the team and is running in practice. Should I sweeten the pot by adding Gates to the mix or Ingram since he needs a TE and RB as well? He countered with Ingram for Desean Jackson, but Desean isn't a big enough upgrade IMO.
  2. So a person in my league just proposed an interesting trade to me. He's offering up Calvin Johnson in return for Mike Wallace. He only has 1 win and is in an absolute must win now situation. I'm 3-4 after this week, and a game back from the playoff pack, so I'm almost in a have to win now situation and Megatron's injury scares me. I've also seen several of the sites rest of the year rankings placing Wallace higher than Megatron, but you just have to think that Megatron's ceiling is much higher if he can come back healthy. I'm also debating on countering and trying to improve at QB since Matt Ryan has been struggling. I also have extra RB's, and he is in need of RB's so I could use that to sweeten the pot if I wanted (if I could convince him to give me Dez that would be the best, but I doubt he'd do that). He's also expressed interest in Gates and Gronk. So should I do Megatron for Wallace, or should I counter and try to also improve at QB or get a better WR from him? Help me work out a great trade that can get my 3-4 team over the hump. Oh yah, 10 team league, low performance, non-ppr scoring, QB RBx2 WRx2 TE FLEX. My team: QB- Matt Ryan RB - M. Lynch, A.Bradshaw, J.Bell, M.Ingram, A.Smith, S.Johnson WR - R.Cobb, M.Wallace, Michael Floyd, E.Decker TE - R.Gronkowski, A.Gates His team: QB-J.Cutler, R.Wilson RB-L.Bell, A.Ellington, R.Kennings WR-D.Bryant, D.Jackson, R.Randle, C.Johnson TE-J.Cook, J.Witten Thanks!
  3. So someone just offered me Aaron Rodgers and Wes Welker for Nick Foles and Leveon Bell. Standard scoring, non ppr. Start QB, RBx2, WRx2, FLEX, TE. My team: QB: RGIII, Foles RB: AP, Reggie Bush, Leveon Bell WR: Josh Gordon, Roddy White, Cotchery, Hankerson, Burleson TE: Graham His team: QB: Rodgers, Tannehill RB: Stacy, Mathews, Greene WR: Welker, Garcon, Amendola, Washington, Edelman TE: Gates I kinda wish the guy would go for RGIII instead of Foles, but I could definitely use help at WR. I'll also probably try to add in sending Alex Henery for Gostkowski as well so I can upgrade at K. Should I make this trade? Should I counter? Thanks in advance for the help.
  4. Forgot to mention, standard scoring, non ppr. The only way I dont make this trade is if I can somehow work out a deal with Mathews or L.Bell plus one of my WR for a top tier 1 wr.
  5. In my 12 team league, i'm being offered Roddy White for Ryan Mathews and Leonard Hankerson. My RB's and WR's currently: AP, Reggie Bush, Leveon Bell, Ryan Mathews, and Joquie Bell; Reggie Wayne, Josh Gordon, Cecil Shorts, Michael Floyd, Leonard Hankerson. Everything is telling me to make the trade. Just wanted to see what you guys thought before I made it happen.
  6. Im concerned about his limited role too. It's between Jordy and Torrey Smith for my WR2 spot. Think im leaning Smith even though Jordy is playing.
  7. Hey everyone, I'm currently tied for the last seed in the playoffs in my league, and im playing the guy im tied with this week. My RB2 is pretty terrible so I'm really struggling with who to play in that spot, as well as my WR/RB Flex position. League is standard scoring non-ppr. My lineup currently (positions im struggling to fill in bold): RB: Ray Rice RB: Ryan Grant WR/RB: Plaxico Burress WR: Megatron WR:Anquan Boldin Bench: Felix Jones Mike Tolbert Jackie Battle Toby Gerhart Sidney Rice Denarius Moore Right now I'm really debating between Tolbert, Grant, or Gerhart in the RB2 slot; and Grant, Tolbert, Gerhart, Burress, and Moore in the Flex slot. Thanks in advance for any and all help!
  8. I asked the guy how the trade legitimately makes his team better, we'll see what he says. His other RB/WR are: RBs Chris Johnson Tomlinson Jonathan Stewart McCluster Ryan Torain WRs Mike Williams Plaxico Burress Hines Ward (Mike Wallace)
  9. I'm not one to really ever veto a trade. Its only happened once in all my years of Fantasy Football, but a trade in one of my leagues just got accepted that is extremely one sided. The last place team in our league is trading away Mike Wallace to a team contending for the playoffs for Sidney Rice, Malcolm Floyd, and Kevin Faulk. This just screams collusion to me, and I feel like it has to be vetoed. What are all your guys thoughts on the matter?
  10. I definately like MIN way more then JAC. I actually have MIN upsetting DET on my board. Another upset I like is SF over CIN.
  11. Everyone is acting like this is the end of Gates. If I remember correctly, wasn't this his same situation basically every week for his past 2 seasons. I remember him always being questionable and not practicing during the week, but he'd almost always end up playing. Am i misremembering?
  12. Hey guys, I've been going back and forth with who to start at my flex position (wr/rb). My league uses standard scoring, non ppr. I can't decide between Anquan Boldin and Felix Jones. I think Felix Jones is going to break out, I just don't know if it will be this week. Boldin looks like he'll be pretty solid this year too so its a tough decision. Any help cracking this conundrum is greatly appreciated!
  13. I need Wes Welker to score under 30 pts. I got pretty lucky, as long as the above doesn't happen I'll be the top scorer in my league this week. My starters this week: QB:Phillip Rivers RB: Ray Rice RB: Mike Tolbert WR: Megatron WR: Kenny Britt WR/RB: Anquan Boldin TE: Antonio Gates
  14. I'd go with Bush. He should have a decent game tomorrow.
  15. thx everyone for the advice so far. Im still going back and forth on these guys. I want to start Felix simply because I hate the Jets, and I'd love to see him put up some points on them (however unlikely it is). I share the same worries about Knowshon as most, despite his decent matchup, and Tolbert worries me simply from the fact that I'm already starting Rivers and Gates, and I'd rather not put most of my eggs in one basket. I may just be over thinking things. So right now my main lineup is: Phillip Rivers Ray Rice Felix Jones Knowshon Moreno Megatron Kenny Britt Antonio Gates and its probably likely that Tolbert will be swapped with Moreno several times before the games start.
