  1. Limit that statement to 1 QB leagues. In most 2 QB leagues, there really aren't better options. In my 2, looking at the ww, there's OAK QB, ARI QB, Matt Moore, David Carr for as long as Smith is out, and Garrard is available in 1. I could see an argument where Gradkowski might be a better play than Kitna, though I'm not sure we even know if Gradkowski's going to be the starter this week. Kitna looks worthy of ww priority in this situation though.
  2. Benched SEA Mike Williams for Steve Smith. Will probably cost me a win unless Eli has an awful night tonight. I need to ban myself from making last minute changes on Sunday.
  3. No. There's is very little difference between the hit on Steve Smith and the hit on DJax. Only that Steve Smith saw the hit coming and was able to prepare himself for it.

    Nicks

I think it's 99% that Nicks starts and burns the Cowboys for at least 1 TD.
  5. It was a play with a lot of laterals at the end of the game. Romo passed the ball, then got the ball lateraled back to him and ran for 11 yards before a lateral to someone else. He won't get a reception for that, but gets the 11 yards he ran as receiving because the play started as a pass. Sucks to lose by .2 pts.
  6. MSW has to be the biggest disappointment. Completely worthless. From the little I've seen of the Jags, it's not totally that Garrard sucks. He can't even get open often. Plenty of others, but they have some excuses and some hope over the second half. 1) DWill - His team and coach are awful. When given the ball, he still does his thing. 2) Ronnie Brown - Part of this is that Miami trying to act like they have passing offense now, and are doing pretty well. Ronnie hasn't been great with the opportunities he's had though. Expected more in a contract year. 3) Carolina Smith - Damn shame he still plays for the Panthers. That franchise should trade him in an effort to get a #1 pick and out of respect for his carrer. And to help my fantasy team. 4) J. Harrison - I'm not convinced he's near as bad as Mangini obviously thinks he is. After the trade, I'm worried he'll turn Philly into more of a RBBC over time. Greene belongs on this too even though I never bought in to his ADP and he was gone before I'd have considered drafting him. No one expected LT to be the primary back though.
  7. Sigh, this is going well but I didn't even bother to mention the game where I need CJ + 6 > Bironas. I shouldn't have to be worried about that. 1 pt from a tie now though.
  8. I need CJ < 17 pts to keep my 2nd highest scoring team in the league from going 2-4.
  9. Outside of injury, I don't think anyone that should have been drafted in the first round will be a true bust. MJD will probably be the closest, but I think he's still a top 10 RB by the end of the season. The more dramatic busts will probably be in the second round. Shonn Greene is a complete failure with LT being the #1 RB there. Calvin Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, and DeAngelo Williams are looking to be disappointments.
  10. Ashomuga + injury concerns will probably mean I bench him. I only own him in a 8 team league though so I have the depth to start Floyd instead of him. In a deeper league, I'd probably wait until Sunday morning and only bench him if the news on him didn't sound good.
  11. I guess I'm lucky enough to play in leagues with adults that are able to step back and not veto a trade just because they don't want it to happen. None of those trades were even close to unbalanced enough to consider vetoing.
  12. No, this will only prove that the NFL makes the wrong decisions. The rest of your argument is a bunch of "ifs" that didn't happen. The player would be in the wrong if he hurt an innocent bystander. If the NFL doesn't want this type of thing to happen, they need to get the teams to ban these fans from the stadiums. If they don't, then players are going to do what almost any of us with a pair would do if such a thing happened to us and react. Our society is becoming pansy because people aren't fearful of getting their butts kicked when they act like this fan.
  13. That's one of the reasons I think it's a great idea. The owners will have to concede giving the players more money and increasing the roster sizes so that more players are in the NFL. Seems like a win/win to me.
  14. He's definitely a starter once Ben comes back. I don't think I could start him next week vs. BAL though.
