  1. Which 4 should I start. A Peterson vs NYG: but he has the injury plus this may be a meaningless game for the Vikings by the time it starts Gurley at Seattle: Tough Matchup L Murray vs San Diego: Could be a wet game tonight. C West vs Cleveland: Appears to be a good matchup but how much will he split carrier D Robinson at New Orleans: Good matchup but another RBBC potentially Woodhead at Oakland: Is playing him relying too much on the touchdown
  2. I don't see anything wrong with that team. I would maybe try to trade for a decent back QB if you don't already have one.
  3. I have Cooks pegged in for sure but which other 3 receivers should I start? Keenan Allen vs Detroit Michael Floyd vs New Orleans Andre Johnson at Buffalo Allen Robinson vs Carolina Cody Latimer vs Baltimore Eddie Royal vs Green Bay If you leave a link I will return favor
  4. It depends who your runningbacks are. If you are comfortable with them make the trade. If not I wouldn't make the trade. see mine. http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?/topic/403046-did-i-mess-up-this-auction-will-return-favor/
  5. You spent wisely on those big 6. Ironically in my auction (270 cap) I spent $45 on Thomas and thought I overspend but at least I like him as a player. Good job on getting Brees. You will be cashing in on the qb-rec combo all year. see mine http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?/topic/403046-did-i-mess-up-this-auction-will-return-favor/
  6. 10 teamer, 2 QB League, $270 cap, 1-10 for rec and rush yds, 1-25 passing, bonus points for long TD's. My team QB: P Manning $58 QB: Luck $39 - probably a slight overspend RB: D Martin $54 RB: L Miller $20 WR: D Thomas $45 - definitely an overspend but last elite receiver left at the time WR: T Smith $23 - not great value but again last receiver left at his tier WR: T Austin - $7 RB: R Mathews - $14 K: J Brown - $1 Def/ST: Atlanta - $1 Reserves - All $1 players QB: Ponder, Gabbert RB: Moreno WR: Hopkins, C Patterson, R Randle, A Roberts Def/ST: NY Giants
  7. Titus Young could be a flex option for either team in the deal. Fairly standard performance scoring with bonus points for long touchdowns and big yardage games. Do you take Titus Young and Doug Martin or Trent Richardson
  8. Both leagues are 10 teams leagues which have standard 1-10 for rushing and receiving yards, 1-25 for passing yards with 5 points for passing touchdowns. 1,2 or 3 Bonus points for long touchdowns, depending on how long. 5 bonus points for going over 150 rushing, 140 receiving and 350 passing. The elite quarterback can score 450 points or more, or at least they did last year whereas Ray Rice scored 305, Calvin Scored 260 with about 6 receivers over 200. Both Leagues allow two quarterback starters but it's not mandatory. Quarterbacks are very highly values. Brees went for $88 in one league and Rodgers $90 in the same league. League 1 we keep 1 keeper from prior year that auctioned at $10 or cheaper or was a free agent pickup. Mine was Victor Cruz. Which team do you like the best. Leave a link and I will return the favor. Team 1 QB: Ryan $48 QB:(Flex): Luck $13 RB: Rice $69 RB: R Matthews $25 WR/TE: J Jones $38 WR/TE: Cruz $0 WR/TE: A.J. Green $37 Flex: D Martin $17 K: Henery (Phi) $1 Def/ST: NY Jets Reserves QB: Bradford $11 RB: B Scott $1, P Thomas $1, Starks $1 (likely drop) WR: T Young $6, Little $1, Amendola $1 D/ST: Detroit $1 Team 2 QB: Brady $76 QB (Flex): Romo $39 RB: D Murray $40 RB: Bradshaw $20 WR/TE: Fitzgerald $40 WR/TE: Colston $14 WR/TE: A Brown $17 Flex: DeAngelo Williams $2 K: Prater $1 Def/ST: Baltimore $2 Reserves QB: Weeden $1, Gabbert $2 RB: B Scott $2, Vereen $1 WR: D Moore $6, N Washington $2, Blackmon $4 Def/ST: NY Giants
  9. I play in a 2 QB $275 auction league. The big QB's went for huge money. I wanted to go big but Brees went for $86, Brady for $76 and Rodger a bargain at $70. I had to pay $48 for Matt Ryan and don't feel like I overspent. Due to the high bidding of quarterbacks I ended up getting Luck for $13. At first I thought I overpaid, now I think I got a steal. I think Luck will be a very good QB2 in a 2 QB league.
  10. Which one of these receivers should I drop Roy Williams for if any? Our league does rewards for big yardage games and long touchdowns and also gives points for return touchdowns for position players. Derek Mason Anthony Armstrong (but I already have S Moss) Davone Bess Nate Washington Jabar Gaffney Nate Burleson Devin Hester Kevin Walter Mike Williams (Sea) Brandon Tate Eddie Royal Donald Driver Josh Morgan Jacoby Jones Jordan Shipley Brandon Gibson (already have Amendola) Louis Murphy Steve Smith (formerly NYG) Randy Moss Massaquoi Emanuel Sanders Mark Clayton Josh Cribbs Antonio Brown Chris Chambers Bernard Berrian
  11. I needed a little balance with being weak at runningback so I made a couple of key trades. League is 1-10 yds rush and receive. 1-25 for passing yards. Pass td's = 5, rush and receive = 6. Small Bonuses for big yardage games and long touchdowns. Starting Lineups 2 QB, 2 RB, 1 flex, 3 receivers/tightends, 1 kicker, 1 def/st. This was a redraft auction league My roster going in QB: Rivers, Romo, McCoy, Dalton RB: Mendenhall, F Jackson, Ronnie Brown WR: Cal Johnson, Bowe, D Bryant, Amendola, S Moss, B Edwards, Roy Williams K: Janikowski, M Bryant Def: New England, Dallas My first trade I received L McCoy I gave Calvin Johnson 2nd trade I received Bradford, Jones-Drew, Garcon I traded Rivers, F Jackson, B Edwards My new roster starters QB: Romo QB: Bradford RB: Mendenhall RB: McCoy WR: Bowe WR: Bryant WR: Amendola or Garcon Flex: Jones-Drew K: Bryant Def: Patriots Did I do myself well and which trade should I have made and should I have not made? Thanks Will return favor if link is included.
  12. I was wondering the same damn thing. The only week I didn't start him is the only week he did well. Go figure. He is part of the reason I ended up trading a good runningback away to put someone in for him at receiver and to add another quarterback. He is very frustrating. What is even more amazing is I watch the red zone channel and I have yet to even see him in the game. He probably has been but I have yet to see him even be a target yet. How can Garrard have such a good day yet Skims-Walker does almost nothing. What a bum.
  13. Scoring system. 1/10 for rush/rec yds, 1/25 pass yrds, 5 pnts for pass td's/6 for all other. Bonus points for long touchdowns, Bonus points for big yardages games. 2 QB starting league. Who wins this trade. Either way is it lopsided either way or fairly even. Team A Receives: Ray Rice Chad Henne Team B Receives: Ben Roethlisberger Brandon Marshall
  14. I am not trying to gloat by any means. Jackson was the top scoring wideout in my league last year and Flacco hold much more value in a 2 QB league. I feel I won the trade slightly but it certainly isn't a landslide trade either way.
  15. First of all I am not a traditional runningback first strategist. I have been burned by them in the past and don't really trush them all that much. My strategy has been to wait for runningbacks until the 4th round at the earliest. I used to be a runningback guy but I play in a league that allows 2 quarterbacks to start. My system is 1/10 for rec and rush yrds. 1/25 for passing yards. 5 for pass td's, 6 for all others. Qb's get 5 bonus points for 350 yard game, rb's and wr's get 5 bonus points for 150 rush and 140 rec yards. I also get 1 bonus pt for 30+ yrd td's, 2 for 50+ and 3 for 80+. Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR/TE, 1 flex, 1 superflex (which allows QB) My relevant roster. QB's Romo Flacco D Anderson Sanchez RB's Forte Spiller Forsett Maroney WR's DeSaun Jackson Fitz Garcon Sims-Walker Dez Bryant Royal He recieves Joe Flacco, DeSean Jackson I receive Ray Rice, Chris Wells, Chad Henne I hope I made out ok on this one. It hurts getting rid of two good players so hopefully Rice won't have a down year.
