  1. Really depends on your league scoring. In a standard 1 pt per 25 yds pass, 4 pts per td pass and no bonus pts for 300 plus yds passing, I think #3 is too high for a qb. Just had a draft where Rodgers and Brees went 1 and 2, but league scoring is heavily qb weighted with 1 pt per 10 yds, 6 pts per td pass and 1 pt per completion.
  2. I got Charles in the 5th round in one of my drafts. I'm pretty happy to get him in that spot considering a best case scenario has him being a strong RB2. As of right now, he will be in the flex spot for my team.
  3. Of the four, I'm going with the rookie to have the "best" (pun completely intended) season. Best has looked very good so far this preseason and has completely outplayed Kevin Smith who looks destined for just spot duty this season. Plus, each of those other guys has some serious questions. Bush and Forsett play for teams who've struggled to run the ball (although I think the Raiders will be better this year) and Slaton will likely eat into Foster's production.
  4. In my 2 drafts so far, Mendenhall as gone in the 2nd round in both while Greene went in the 3rd in one and the 4th in the other. Mendenhall is more of a known commodity as he did rush for over 1000 yards last season behind a suspect Steelers line. Greene has been very good in limited duty, but it remains to be seen if he can be a workhorse for 16 games.
  5. Spiller looked good last night although I would still take Mathews and Best ahead of him right now. Welker seems like he's already back at 100%. With Welker healthy, Edelman emerging and the rookie Hernandez looking strong, I think Tom Brady will have a great season.
  6. For what it's worth: Randy Cross was on with one of the local sports talk stations in town and reported that Welker was blowing by Saints DBs in scrimmages with N.O. He went on to say that the guy looks like he's back at 100% already.
  7. I'm one of those who is pretty high on Mathews. I think he's landed in a great situation and will have success because of it. Still not sure I take the rook before the 3rd round though , but if he's there in any of my leagues after the 2nd I'm grabbing him
  8. I take that to mean the Cardinals QB situation SUX!!!!
  9. Living in the ATL, I've said all along the Falcons should have given T.O. some consideration. The guy is a former Atlanta resident and loves it here from what I understand. Even with a healthy Jenkins and Douglas, the Falcon's #2 WR position is still a concern. IMO T.O. is still good for 55-60 catches, 800-900 yds and 6 tds - can't say that about any other receiver on the Falcon roster outside of White.
  10. +1 with Steve Smith. He may not even be a top 15 WR. I would take the other Steve Smith over him in a heartbeat right about now.
  11. Drew Brees and the Saints had a wonderful year last season. I think it's only natural to expect a bit of a drop-off from both the team and Brees this season. He's still the #1 Fantasy QB IMO with Rodgers a very, very close 2nd, but it wouldn't surprise me to see him fall short of the numbers he's put up over the last couple of seasons.
  12. Love your receivers, don't really care for your running backs and kinda lukewarm on your quarterbacks.
  13. All 1st rounders now present and accounted for!
  14. I see Manning and Kolb as fairly even so giving up a potentially solid RB2 in Jacobs sounds like a bit much IMO. Even if you're strong at RB, you always have to factor in injuries at that position especially if one of your top 2 is injury prone based on his past.
