I thought at one point TheHuddle would look at your league and automatically populate the point values? Am I missing that link somewhere?

Not truly knowing Manziel's future worries me. If it was regular season, I would take a chance. But heading into the playoffs, I can't afford the bench spot. I was thinking: Fitz @ Jacksonville Wk 14 and Indy Wk 15, then if I make it to the finals in Wk 16, go McCoy @ Phi. My only worry is that McCoy gets benched and if Houston is out of playoff contention, Fitz is benched as well.... either way, I'll be in the money then anyway. Then again, with Mallett out, is there anyone else? haha. Maybe I'll roll Fitz to the end and take a gamble with Manziel to see if he lights it up this weekend... the rushing threat would be great! A lot to consider before tonights waiver selection.... I have the 3rd spot. (I could also grab someone to block someone else from getting them...then drop them on Saturday and pick up Fitz then..... hmm.... is that wrong? haha)

Ok, I just made the playoffs in our 14 team league. I won my division and am going in as 2nd seed overall mostly because my waiver wire selections got really hot in the past few weeks. Both of my QB's (Foles, then Palmer) went down in weeks 10 & 11, but somehow I've managed to stay alive. I've been rotating my starter from the waiver/free agency pool each week depending on their matchups. Tonight will be the last opportunity I have to pick my QB for the next 3 weeks. Waiver/free agency closes at the start of our playoffs. I'm going to allow 2 spots for QB's on my roster. With Foster on a bye and Murray injured, I'm desperate for a RB this week. I picked up Jones on the waiver, but Thomas is available this morning. Should I grab him instead??? He seems to be getting more touches than Ingram and it appears as though Jones could be injured as well. Thoughts??

I'm playing it safe. I'm not making the trade today. If I trade today, I'm guaranteed to lose this weekend, forcing me to win next weekend to clutch my division. Winning the division has to be my 1st priority. Good news though... I spoke with the other owner and he's agreed to offer the trade again next week. Then, I'll make the deal (I think..... lol)

I've never won it all in my league, but I feel as though I have the team to do it this year (Hasselbeck has been a solid backup for me, assuming Vick doesn't return). If you look at my match-ups, I've outscored almost every team week-to-week. This week, I scored 112 and the other 15 teams didn't even break 100. Winning 1 of the next 2 games guarantees me the division and 2X my investment.... after that, it's $0 unless you make it to the big show.

I like the trade (Rice for Calvin). It favors the other guy, but it does make your team stronger heading into the playoffs. I don't think Felix is going to be a factor in Dallas balance of year. He'll take a few carries here and there, but I think Murray is the workhorse balance of '11. The Lions and Calvin are in a bit of a funk, but I expect them to bounce back. Key here is to look at your playoff schedule. Detroit & Johnson - 14 Min, 15 @ Oak, 16 SD. I would pull the trigger... I think he'll bite.
